Kylie Minogue has become a record breaker after her latest single entered the charts at number one.
It means she has ousted Madonna as the solo female star who has enjoyed the longest span as a UK chart-topper.

Minogue, 35, scored her seventh spell at the top with her new single, Slow - more than 15 years since she first hit number one with I Should Be So Lucky
