Yes, it was! I only started listening when they introduced Dido who presented the award, though, but I think they said it was the first award for this evening...
BTW, Per didn’t say much except for “vi ses i sommar”, maybe he’s sure he’s gonna have to go up there again ;-)

Moneybrothers aka Anders Wendin got the prize for “Male artist of the year” at P3-guld-gala. (P3=channel of SR, Sveriges Radio). The other nominated for the category were: Per, Jose Gonzalez, Timbuktu and Lars Winnerbäck.
Timbuktu also won “song of the year” beating Per and Per wasn’t even nominated for Live of the year.

Whether he wins the awards or not will have no effect on my opinion of his music (if it did, I would have stopped liking Roxette after “Joyride,” not started liking them more!!). Nevertheless, it’s nice when the people you think are deserving of awards get them, and I really don’t see why he can’t win everything if he put out the best quality and best selling album of the year. Why shouldn’t he win?

Anyway, he should not get just everything because he has to have some motivation to work on EVEN better stuff :P For example with GT or Rox, or? ;)

Well, yes, of course it’s apparent that the jury or whoever doesn’t share my opinion of “best album” but what I meant was why *in theory* he couldn’t win everything? But anyway, that’s a good point... maybe it’s good that he didn’t win album of the year and song of the year so that he’ll be motivated to try to do so with another project in another year. I guess there really could be a silver lining here! (-:

Two Swedish comedians, Fredrik & Filip. They have a show on Kanal 5 where they travel around the US (mainly LA) meeting celebs of yesteryear (Fabio, Philip Michael Thomas, Monica Lewinsky etc). They make fun of their guests and themselves. The show is called High Chaparall. They usually serenade their guests with either a Swedish song “translated” or an original American song.
