Have you ever phoned a radiostation and

requested a Rox song? Did they play it for you?
I did back in 96 or 97 when I called my local NRJ (or Kiss FM?) and requested YOU DON´T UNDERSTAND ME for me.
A girl I was talking with said “lovely song!” and they played it that night.

Fantastic. I think we all should phone radio stations and support Rox as much as we can.
Plus P & M gets some more money for air-play:)

Most of the times in the early 90’s they did, but not so much now... although I did request ATAY last Feb for a Valentine Special and they played it.....

I still request and obviously they play the songs of my choice. Also especially when there are albums expected to be released I request the new single at as many radio stations as possible and tell everyone that in days a new album is to be released. I did it like that with HAND, RS, TBH and TPH.

There was a really good radiostation here in Hungary and we fans called them almost daily for playing Rox. They did :-)
But, sadly this station changed the name, style and the staff as well...

i requested äntligen last year at rixfm. but just as an email. but they played it for me and my friend Baby-C

Yea, Radio Bridge really rocked! They played the best music, mostly rock and quality pop-oriented music. Every day at 2 PM they played 3 songs from 1 artist / band. Listeners could SMS or e-mail them to vote for the artist / band. Erm... Roxette was played quite often... :-)

Actually once I was even let in to the studio where I could talk about Roxette, Marie, Per and GT, and had the chance to play a few songs (as far as I remember, they were Sommartider, Tro, Apple In The Mud and Jefferson). And no, my performance was NOT the reason to have the station shut down :-)

I phoned in to MTV select, that old show. Twice actually! ´First time in 1997 I selected “Kix” and me and the host talked about Roxette for a while:)
And then ,I think it was in 1998 I phoned in again and requested “Joyride”.

I also voted for Almost Unreal a couple times on Dial MTV.

yes, when I was a teen, back in the Joyride days. Ah, the memories... “oh no it’s that Roxette fan calling again”

Back in the joyride days, they had a top 10 for the most voted songs. I was shy back then, so when I rang up 4 the 1st time I was vey nervous & I sounded out of breath. The DJ (on-air) decided 2 taunt me & asked sarcasticaly: “what I was doing that made me so out of breath?” I was very embarrased, & could only say “Um...Nothing!”
After that though, I plucked up the courage & rang the next night. The DJ recognised my voice (without the heavy breathing this time) & apologised 4 being rude (off-air)& was nice 2 me after that. So I rang up every night after that, voting 4 the latest song from joyride. (& they always made the top 5!)

There is local ’classic hits’ station and I have noticed recently that they have started playing Roxette songs, *shock horror* I heard IMHBL only yesterday! Arghhh am I getting so old that my fave teenage songs are on our golden oldie station!
But there is also a middle-of-the-road station that has a request line, I’ve rung that a few times but they really only have the LS/Joyride stuff.

All the time, in 1993/1994/1995. :)
So much so, Run to you was the top requested song of the year on the station. :)
The main station here, when they play How Do You Do, I know that came from me. :D I requested it, one day, was told, lots of people are requesting this song but we don’t have it. I took my CD to the station. :D
They know me there as the Roxette nut. ;)
They’ve had request 3s, with me... playing Roxette 3 times in a row... also my friend has done it. :)
