Only if the original artist agrees with it, covers can be brought out. Otherwise they should be banned.
Usually covers are worse than the original, so it is more or less raping of the song.
If the original artist agrees with it, it is ok with me.
But still it is a lack of originality if a band ONLY plays covers.

I just wonder one thing: Why does people here get so upset and angry as soon as someone is doing a cover of a GT song? I mean, why isn´t it equally bad that Roxette made covers of for instance Beatles and Neil Young??? I´m not defending Miio, but I don´t see the difference to be honest...
I think it is rather an honour that someone even wants to do a cover. That means they are interested in the music and still think it is good. Well, my opinion...

anyway if i’m not wrong i first listen part of this cover while i was in Stockholm-and it was a nice suprice.. now when i listened the whole song i can say it is not bad and if this band is with good name,this cover is quite positive thing...

In the beginning I didn’t like “När vi två blir en” at all and I am still not too fond of it but I have to say that the rest of the album is really good (in my opinion). But they should have left out the rappers... :( Well, at least there are none in the two other Gyllene songs. :-)

It is most likely the group Miio you heard. There was a lot of onformation about their upcoming album on the front pgae some time ago. Have a look there!!
Well, I guess their reason is to make money or maybe they just thought it was fun?!
Why not ask why all other new bands doing covers nowadays as well?? Lack of ideas?? Or maybe they are just too stupid to do music??
At least I think that Miio’s version is kind of fun...
