“I’m not big on year end lists. For me, there is nothing more irritating than reading an end-of-year top ten list or a best and worst list because they are usually all the same. And they frequently contain the obvious. Like, who isn’t going to take a shot at Jessica Simpson for her whole chicken/tuna incident? Also, I tend to think that it takes a few years before you can really look back and say, “Yes, that was important.” I think we are still too close to the past twelve months to be able to sum up neatly.”

White Flag- Dido
You weren’t there-Lene Malin

Lumidee-Never Leave
Robbie Williams-Sexed up-Something beautiful
Coldplay-The scientist-In my place
The rasmus-In the shadow
Black eyed peas-Where is the Love
Sylver-Why worry
Christina Aguilera-Fighter
Justin Timberlake-Cry me a river
Evanescence-Going under
No doubt-It’s my life

There are a lot more....but this are the ones i can think of now :p

You’re right Damineh, it takes years to know what was really important in the past, but you shouldn’t take it that serious. For me making that kind of lists is just a nice way of remembering the things I liked in a moment in time. Years ahead you’ll see those lists and see them as funny memories.

I don’t think I can make a list because of all the music i listened to this year... I think it’s all OLD!! (except for a couple bands..)

I passed up this topic for the same reason Judith stated: my best of consists of old stuff. Aside from a handfull of newness, 2003 year was solo Marie Fredriksson year for me.

Yeah Judith well said :). I am still living in the 70’s :(. I can’t seem to get past the 80’s and all I listen to from the 90’s is Roxette. Damn me.

And yeah you are right about looking back and laughing at myself. I tend to not do that anymore :). I have done enough to laugh at myself for the rest of my life :D.

how sad, isn’t it? :S I mean, that we have to rely on old music or old bands.. at least 2004 looks promising :D

Oh, and where’s Per? answer: i think I listened to Mazarin up to 10 times, can’t really call it best of 2003 when I have been listening to Marie (example) almost every day ;)

Well Judith I had a great time listening to Mazarin this summer. I totally forgot about that. But I do not have a clue what he sings and all I sing is non-sense cause I sing them wrong. I do not know the lyrics. So I just say stuff I hear, you know. I do not enjoy the lyrics. Actually I have my own meaning to the song ahaha. But yeah Mazarin was cool. I think the only new song I listen to was Dido-White flag. That was it I guess. I do not listen to the radio nor watch music television.

@ DaminehGessle: What was the chicken/tuna incident? :)

Jessica Simpson isn’t really popular in Australia, but I’m dying to know now!

Well, I usually make an albums best-of list, rather than a songs best-of list, but I CAN say that my fave SONG of 2003 is “Opportunity Nox” by Roxette.

However, my fave ALBUM of 2003 is one that I’m sure NO ONE here on this list has ever heard of, but I KNOW you guys will love. It’s HOWIE DAY’S “Stop All The World Now”. HD is a singer/songwriter from Bangor, Maine, USA, and this is his 2nd album, it’s on Epic/Sony US. Prioduced by Youth from Killing Joke in London, it has an epic, grand sweep, more common with British and Scandinavian acts like Coldplay, the Verve, Travis, and a-ha, even classic Burt Bacharach!! No, I am not kidding. The songs are AMAZING, Howie’s performances quite moving (I’ve been moved to tears many-a-time listening to this record), the production is rich, featuring the London Session Orchestra. Just sheer sonic perfection, and besides “Opportunity Nox”, the best song/single of 2003 is “Perfect Time Of Day” off that Howie Day record.

I DARE any one of you to listen to this record and NOT be moved, to not feel something...it’s IMPOSSIBLE...Howie is awesome, and he’s actually playing NYC, Roseland, on a date with the Stereophonics...shall check it out...

powerpoplarry: hehehehehe. you rave about different artists and albums on almost every thread you reply to...now I have about 10 CDs I need to buy, else I’m a dull witted square...

;)

As for the “best of 2003”, I figger that would be LOTR3.

kachina, you’re absolutely right, LOTR3 is part of the best of last year. BTW, I also have a list of favourites movies :-), specially for those who said that music isn’t that good last year maybe movies were, or not?

1. Lord of the ring: The return of the king
2. X-Men 2: United
3. Terminator 3: Rise of the machines
4. Matrix Revolutions
5. Daredevil
6. Hulk
7. Phone booth
8. Caribbean Pirates (I don’t remember this movies’ exactly name)
9. Catch me if you can
10. The ligue of the extraordinary gentlemen

Yes, I know, I was captured by super heroes movies, but I can’t help it :-p

oh!! now I found the best song of 2003 :D

Dory singing under the see in Finding Nemo :D:D:D

Nah Kachina, you’re not a dull-witted square, LOL!! But yeah, I can’t help raving about stuff, it’s in my blood, haha.

As for movies, I agree, my fave is LOTR3-ROTK, just amazing, then again, so is the whole trilogy!! I did dig “Pirates Of The Caribbean” (that’s the title), it was lots of fun. “X2” was great also. However, I hate most superhero movies cuz they are too overblown and without much substance. I stayed away from “The Hulk” and would not go near “League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, as I heard it was total crappola. I also hate most Hollywood Blockbusters for the same reason, too overblown and no depth, so no “Bad Boys II” or “2 Fast 2 Furious” for me. Give me flicks like “One Hour Photo” or “LOTR3”, smart flicks with depth and creativity.

powerpoplarry: thanks for the reassurance ;)

I LOVED “Pirates”, of course Johnny Depp was fabulous.

“league” was pretty ok, not so bad. sean conery really made it worth watching, let me tell you!

of course, LOTR is the best and most ambitiuos project ever done. I love it!!!!!!

#Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what do we do? We swim, swim, swim!# ;) :D

Hey, no problem Kachina, anytime!! ;-) “Pirates” was fun, and they are making a trilogy of it, or at least a sequel, which should be cool. Didja know JD channeled Keith Richards in his role?? Makes sense, right?? Oh, I also saw a pretty cool JD movie last year, “Once Upon A Time In Mexico”, it was pretty great I thought. Then again, I’m a sucker for movies with Mexican/Latin/Spanish atmospheres, like “Frida” too. They just have a romanticism I love, even with lots of violence. Is it just me?? ;-)

Seems like anything JD touches is quality and gold really.

Maybe I’ll take “League” outta the library, based on your comments, but I will have my caution lights on, just in case, LOL. ;-)

But yes, no difference with the whole LOTR trilogy, just a masterpiece for the ages, and I guarantee it will be looked at in 50 years the way people look at “Casablanca”, “Gone With The Wind”, “The Wizard Of Oz”, and the “Godfather” trilogy today as touchstones, analyzed and everything. Don’t you agree?? Just a tremendous job well done...

I actually did a top 66 songs of 2003. Anyhow, here’s just my top ten, including the remixes I liked of each track (if available):

1 Opportunity Nox - Roxette
2 Love Profusion (Album Version, Headcleanr Rock Mix) - Madonna
3 Nothing Fails (Album Version, Album Edit, Radio Edit, Nevins EP Mix, Nevins Radio Mix) - Madonna
4 Hollywood (Album Version, Non-Devil Edit, Non-Devil Edit w/Long Fade-Out, Radio Edit, Video Edit, Jacques Lu Cont’s Thin White Duck Mix) - Madonna
5 American Life (Unedited Album Version, Radio Edit w/Rap, Oakenfold Downtempo Mix, Oakenfold Downtempo Radio Mix, Headcleanr Rock Mix) - Madonna
6 Trouble (Album Version, Live Acoustic Version From The ’American Music Awards’ on November 16, 2003) - P!nk
7 Pavement Cracks (Album Version, Radio Edit, Shanghai Suprise Club Edit, MacQuale Club Mix) - Annie Lennox
8 White Flag (Album Version, Radio Edit, Johnny TooBad Mix) - Dido
9 Come Undone (Unclean Edit, Album Version) - Robbie Williams
10 It’s My Life - No Doubt

Hehe why 66???

Oh guys I am so tired it took me 10 minutes to figure out what LOTR3 was!!! hahaha I cannot believe myself.

And I should add: I dunno why but kachina you somehow rock! I really dunno why!

powerpoplarry: Have you watched “from hell” ? apart from the fact that I am morbidly fascinated with Jack the ripper (I took the walking tour when I was in London!)...Mr. Depp really made it worth watching. Altho, I don’t think Heather Graham was right for the role, I do like her, but she tried too hard with her pseudo cockney.

“League” is a movie you watch once and then forget about. but it is worth the watch! watch out for Dorian Gray, he is as fantastic as brad pitt as a vampire. yum :)

Totally agree about LOTR. definitely a classic for all time. I really loved the third movie, and was absolutely teary at some parts!

Damineh: Thanks ;) maybe it’s coz I love JD? (hint: that doesn’t stand for Jack Daniels).

@Denstandigaresan “#Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what do we do? We swim, swim, swim!# ;) :D “

Exactly :D:D

TheRain, I would like to know all your entire list of 66 songs. Actually my entire list is 82 songs in English and 60 in Spanish. Do you often do those lists or was it just this last year?

If you want you can send it to me by email [email protected]

I don’t understand that swimming thing :-9

Roxlander, watch “finding nemo” :)

I feel like kachina - a dull witted square. PPL - glad you are back to recommend some fresh new music.

I do not think 2003 offered much good music, especially in North America, but I am not a fan of hip-hop and R&B..... I liked Pavement Cracks (Annie Lennox), Clocks (Coldplay), Fallen (Sarah M.). Like the rest of you, I listened to a lot of old music.

kachina - did you get the explanation for the Jessica Simpson chicken/tuna thing yet?

shane: heheheh. wasn’t there are time when all the top ten hits on the charts were hip hop?

about the tuna/chicken thing, i think it was a comment that JS made, about tuna being the chicken of the sea, only she got it wrong. I dunno more than that, sorry!

wait i think i found it:

[Jessica Simpson and her husband are enjoying a delicious meal of Chicken of the Sea tunafish.]
Jessica Simpson: Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish?

[Jessica is inverviewed by Chaunce Hayden of Metro Channel’s ’Naked New York’]
Jessica Simpson: I hate to admit it, but yes, I swear to you, I really thought Chicken of the Sea was actually chicken. That’s how I really think.

[Chicken of the Sea company invites Jessica to a company meeting.]
Chicken of the Sea exec Don George: We wanted to bring her down and make sure she understood the difference, and told her the story of how the brand name originated.

oh and apparently, she thought that “buffalo wings” are acutally made out of ....buffalo :P
those who don’t know, buffalo wings are spicy chicken wings and are called that becoz the recipe originated in Buffalo, NY. If I am wrong, someone correct me!

good marketing..now we know of a company we would have never heard of!

ER, EVERYBODY knows that “Chicken Of The Sea” is tunafish, that’s why it’s funny, and BTW, Jessica was just PLAYING dumb, she’s not really dumb in real life. On the other hand, her MUSIC IS stupid, IMO.

Kachina, OK, I’ll take out LOEG from the library, and nope, never saw “From Hell”, but I do love Heather Graham, she’s a cutie. Saw a gem of a movie she was in, “Say It Isn’t So”, with Chris Klein from the American Pie movies...awesome and overlooked...

Shane, you HAVE to check out Howie Day’s CD “Stop All The World Now”!! You dig Coldplay?? You’ll wet yourself upon hearing Howie!!

Ok here is an explanation to the Chicken Tuna story that Jessica herself was telling the audience in a show I am not sure Oprah or what.

She hates fish. She always hated fish. So growing up, her mom made her tuna sandwiches and would tell her it is chicken of the sea. She would never tell her it was fish. The mom always told her it was chicken for her to eat it, otherwise she wouldn’t. So when the whole chicken/tuna incident happened on tv, she really thought tuna was chicken. I never watch her show but I saw this on TV on her admitting she never knew tuna was fish.

And larry I think she is a bit stupid. Don’t you think so?

Kachina you like whiskey eh?

Hey Damineh!! To answer your question, yeah, I think Jess IS a bit stupid (anyone doing her brand of music is), just not as stupid as everyone was making her out to be.

Did you get my email???

And oh yeah, Kachina DOES rock, in her own way...

Yes I did get your email and I even replied to it!!! I think I did hmmm!

Roxlander, I might as well just post all 66 songs here then. I’m sure nobody will mind. :p

Why 66? Well, that’s what I came up with. Obviously, the songs I liked the most rank near the top of the list and the ones that I may have just liked or thought were decent rank further toward the bottom. However, it’s hard to rank anyway, so the positions may be quite irrelevant.

Also, this list is just the singles released in 2003 (promoted songs, international releases, and USA releases). It does not include album tracks, b-sides, etc.

I post at another board with a bunch of online friends that I’ve known for several years. For the past few years, we’ve done a “songs of the week” type chart, listing our faves of the past week.

All in all, much of the music I listened to this past year was older music - music not released in 2003. For example, my most-listened to this year would probably include...
1 The Miracle Of Love (Live From ’The Peacetour’ on December 9, 1999 at Docklands Arena, London; Live From ’Rock Im Park’ Germany on June 9, 2000; Album Version; 7” Edit) - Eurythmics
2 Angels Or Devils (Strings Version, Live...Greetings From The Flow State, Live From ’The Lounge,’ Album Version) - Dishwalla
3 Lovesong (Remix, Extended Remix) - The Cure
...
Also, I listened to a ton of Eurythmics this year. So add that to the list.
So, this Top 66 obviously doesn’t represent my most listened to music of the past year. I attempted to do a different list for that but that was too difficult to rank and combine.

Before my hard drive crashed, I had over 1,600 songs in my iTunes playlist. So yeah, it was almost like a radio station of non-stop music. Hehe.

Anyhow, enough ranting. I imagine nobody read this. Oh well. :)

Hey Damineh, I never got that response, hmmmm....check it again...

And OK, I give, here is my list of 2003 stuff, top 50 albums (a few ties in there as well), top 20 reissues, and 20 worst albums, I also decided to make a songs/singles list too...here goes...

Damineh, actually, I don’t. I tried it once and couldn’t stop coughing for 3 hours, while the guys around me swallowed gulp after gulp. geez.

and powerpoplarry: thanks, *blush*....but what does “in her own way” mean? :)))

Well Kachina, I mean you’re unique, cool, one-of-a-kind, and you stand out from the crowd, and that is a good thing... ;-)

oh. cool ;) thanks :)

TheRain, good ranking. There’s a lot of songs you like that I also included in my list. Thanks for sharing, I read it all (maybe the only one who did :-p)

powerpoplarry, wow! what a lot of music! But I hardly know some, are you a dj or something like that?

I have love/hate relationship towards 2003 Madonna.
AL is a terrible song and video but there ARE some high moments on AL the album.
greez.

Oh Kachina nooooooooooooooooooooo whiskey is awesome :(. How could you cough hehe. When I was younger, a year younger :), I used to drink whiskey only. I loved it. I could drink a bottle and still function pretty well. Last year’s banquet, I had 15 glasses of whiskey on the rox and my stupid soul, I drank a glass of wine. That was the end of my whiskey era. I got so sick and oh man how embarrassing. So yeah! I just happen to have Crown Royal bottles full of Crown Royal ofcourse in different sizes. I love Crown Royal. Oh good old times. You should come to Canada once and I’ll take you out drinking ;). Actually we can have a good time sober. Why not?!

Larry I did send an email :(. And it was freaking long :(.

Wow Damineh!! I feel so bad I never got it, and I was looking forward to reading it too, dang!! Sure you didn’t save a backup copy?? Do you have a feature where you can save a copy in your sent folder?? I always do that.

Sure you sent it to the right address: [email protected]??

I hope it’s not all lost and you have to redo it, that would suck...btw, if you’re yahoo, it has a tendency to “eat” emails and not send em successfully...

Wow. I thought I had a lot of music on my lists. Powerpoplarry surely has his share! Very cool. I guess I’m not the only music freak here. :)

Hotmail s**ks.

Damineh, damn woman. an entire bottle of whisky?? that’s a lot of alcohol ;) I am a full fledged chicken, I have never been drunk, but I do like my mixed drinks ;)

I am a long long ways from Canada tho :(
I have a friend in Guelph. how far is that from you?

la la la. Tuesday morning, C!B!B! in the car...what more could I want??

Adam, you finally come back, where were you? and...does Majdy sing? how come?

Really?? Majdy sings?? Do you live in NY?? Cuz I do and she said she might move there, so I am assuming she will move here to be with you...that would be so cool if you two become a band, I would come to all your gigs!! I LOVE bands with female singers!!! Always have!!

Oh and TheRain1981, ya dig the list?? Where’s yours?? Curious about your take on mine, oh and before you look back, read ahead cuz I revised it a bit...what are your faves or curiosities on mine??

Yeppers, I revised my list, as I saw it had some errors, like positions missing, and I realized some later, soooo here is my FINAL list of faves of 2003, here goes....

Again, discuss....

Wow, Adam, San Diego?? Er, I’m a TAD faraway from you, in New York, hahaha!! Um, the only way I’ll be able to attend your gigs is if you play some in New York, or if I move to Cali, which MIGHT be a remote possibility, as I might have a thing going with this girl from Sunnyvale I met 6 months ago on another board...she is visiting me here soon, and it might be on Valentines Day, IF her company’s training falls that week, as she was informed...we shall see...like Majdy, she is Asian too, but she was born in California...nice + gorgeous she is, YOW!!!

Hehe
guelph is like a whole different world than here!!! What sucks the most about the US and Canada is that they are so big I hate that. Let’s say that from here to Toronto is about 5 hour flight and then from Toronto to Guelph another hour or 2 to drive I guess. Very far :). Heh. Once a friend in Iran asked me to pick an application up for her from the University of Waterloo which is located in Waterloo, Canada. I told her that it was a 6 hour flight from here to there. She got mad thinking I am lying. She got ever more mad when I told her it would be better if she gets the application off of the internet. heehee.

Damineh, doesn’t your friend know that Canada is like the second or third biggest country in the world?? It’s HUGE, even bigger than the US!! You’re on the west coast, Toronto + Guelph are towards the east but not as far east as the coast in the Maritimes and Nova Scotia, in Halifax!! Tell your friend to look at a world atlas...I have no problem with the US and Canada being HUGE, I love that, actually, but the only way it sucks is that many UK and foreign bands can’t make it big in the US cuz it’s too big, they’d have to tour forever...

Damineh heheheheeh, i know what you mean.

Madjy sings a song called “cicak-cicak di dinding”????
hehehehehehehehehhe thats really funny :)))

@Kachina
Hey, Kachina, do u know that song? (Cicak-cicak di dinding?), Adam was so crazy with that song :P he asked me to sing that over and over again on the phone :P

@Larry : wow.. wow Asian girl??? where does she from? Chinese? congratulation :)

Can’t wait to have you in our gigs :) but hope my singing wn’t hurt your ear :D but Adam CAN sing very well. he could beat pavarotti :)

@roxlander : hey, got your email :) will reply that soon...

anyway, I haven’t put my fav list of movie this year.

1. Finding Nemo
2. Kill Bill vol 1
3. The Ring (it came in Indonesia this year)
4. Matrix Reloaded

Haven;t see The Lord Of The Rings yet, maybe it will be on my list too...

I also see Hulk, Intolerable Incruelty, but I didn’t really like those...

I missed Identity and Heaven this year.

Majdy, No i don’t know the song, but I understood the title and thought it was hilariuos :)

Larry: People might know Canada is the 2ND largest country in the world, but they cannot imagine how large. You know what I mean??? Even I live here and I cannot imagine how big it is. It’s HUUUGGGEEE. Yeah the fact that most bands cannot make it here is sad. I hate it.

Madjy and Adam, I would love to hear you singing :-)

I think it’s hard for bands to make it anywhere. In big countries like yours because there’s lot of bands trying, and little countries like mine because there are not public enough. In Costa Rica there are very good bands but it’s so hard for them to have success.

I don’t even a clue how could it be living in huge countries like Canada, USA, Spain, or France. Costa Rica is so little, it takes about 7 hours to travel from coast to coast, and nobody travels by plane inside the country. But I like it that way :-)

@powerpoplarry: you think nobody here knows howie day?? well, I certainly do. I work at a radio station in switzerland and he’s had plenty of airplay here. and not just since 2003...

I want to see Passion of Christ too, I’ve always liked Bible related movies. I like “Jesus of Nazareth”, a tv series from early 80’s I think, with Robert Powell as Jesus. But this new movie seens to be very interesting.

I’ve seen some trailer of The Punisher, more super heroes movies :-)

When are they going to make a Green Latern movie?!!!!!!

Jennifer Brown “Weak”
Haddaway “What Is Love 2003 Reloaded”

Now that you like Mel’s movie, have you seen The Last Temptation of Christ? It came out in 1988 and I wasn’t here in Canada so I have no idea how it did here or whether it was ever released but I know Christians did not like it. It was a weird movie yet awesome.

Last Temptation of Christ, The (1988)
Directed by Martin Scorsese
Writing credits (WGA)
Nikos Kazantzakis (novel)
Paul Schrader (screenplay)

Also Known As:
Passion (1988) (USA) (working title)
Runtime: 164 min
Country: USA
Language: English
Color: Color (Technicolor)
Sound Mix: 70 mm 6-Track (70 mm prints) / Dolby (35 mm prints)
Certification: Australia:M / Australia:R (original rating) / Chile:(Banned) (1989-2002) / Chile:18 (re-rating) (2003) / Finland:K-16 / Iceland:16 / Norway:18 / Portugal:M/16 / South Africa:(Banned) / South Korea:18 / Sweden:15 / UK:15 (video re-rating) (2000) / UK:18 (original rating) / USA:R / West Germany:16 / South Korea:(Banned) (1989-2001)

I haven’t seen that movie. When it came out Catholic Church in Costa Rica censured it, but years later it came to theaters again and I don’t know why I didn’t go to see it. I would like to see it, but I wouldn’t like to have a weird vision of Jesus like the one exposed there.

Damineh, yeppers, Canada is MASSIVE, and most of it is untouchable and uninhabitable, like the most northern parts of NWT, Yukon, and Nunevut!! Doesn’t Canada reach the North Pole too?? Sheesh!! Puts the US in its place!! ;-)

Yeah, Damineh, Kachina, I agree, Majdy singing a song with THAT title must be funny, GREAT but funny, haha!! What in heck does that mean anyway?? ;-P

Majdy, yeppers, an Asian gir!! Really, she is Asian-American, born and raised in California, of Hmong descent, ever hear of that ethnicity?? It stems from Chinese/Taiwanese and is a small minority, she’s really gorgeous!! :-D We might be meeting in person the weekend of Valentines Day, yippee!!

And yeah, can’t wait to check out one of your gigs!! I love checking out new bands, espesh of friends of mine... ;-) Oh, my ears won’t hurt, they’ll probably feel massaged from your voice... ;-D And I’m sure Adam is awesome too, with the both of ya’s making sweet harmony...

As for your best of 2003 movie list, I saw all but “Kill Bill Vol 1”, which I wanted to see but missed. Will check it out on DVD before Vol 2 hits the theater. LOVE LOVE LOVE “Finding Nemo”!! I have it on DVD, it’s a big fave!! “The Ring” was great, but I want to see the original “Ringu” from Japan. “Matrix Reloaded”?? Ehhhh...wasn’t blown away...

“Lord Of The Rings”????? The whole trilogy is one of the beat movies of all time, IMO...just perfect...

I stayed away from “The Hulk” like it was a virus!! I have a problem with big budget superhero movies, bleccchhhh...the only ones I dug recently were the “X-Men” movies...lots of depth and not dumbed down for the masses...never saw “Intolerable Cruelty” either...I heard “Identity” sucked, and what is “Heaven”???

Adam, I WILL attend one of yours and Majdy’s gigs, even if it kills me!! ;-) And, please, don’t say she will be the next Britney!!! No way, Brit is terrible and plastic, ANYBODY is better than her, and you two should have better aspirations than that!! ;-) Think Dusty Springfield, Lisa Stansfield, Anggun, and Annie Lennox!!

I want to see “Big Fish”!!! I heard it is great!! T3 is awesome, I loved it, best of the 3 movies. Never saw JC2 though...

StupidGirl, you know Howie Day?????!!!!??? Wow, I am amazed his stuff got released over in Europe, and I had a feeling he would be played over there if it was; his music has a European sensibility, moreso than an American one, could be why he connected there in your country of Switzerland more than here in the US!!!

About those Christ movies, it seems ANY movie about that guy is bound to be controversial here. It makes me sick!!! Not the movies, but those bullcrap rightwing fundamentalists who think they have all control...what hypocrites they are!! And even the Jewish leaders too!!

1- Disturbed - Prayer
2- Linkin Park - Faint

Roxlander: It’s good to see things they don’t talk about in public. I personally don’t mind watching the dark side of Jesus, mohammad or whoever else. They were people too you know. I actually like it. What I don’t like is when they talk bad about Christians, Jews, or Muslims in a movie. I was raised in a country in which they ruled over people under Islam. Well reading Quran you never find those stupid rules. It’s ok if they reveal the truth but if it gets fictional, playing around with people’s beliefs, that ain’t acceptable.

Larry: A friend was saying the other day that for every square kilometer, there live 3 people here in Canada. That’s horrible hahaha.

Jackie, there was a song by Pat Benatar last year? I like her 80’s hits, but I never heard anything about her after that.
