i don’t know u people, but i really love european music! and i wait a whole year tosee the european mtv to see what?????????AMERICANS SINGERS AND AMERICAN HOst, so,,,,where is the european?????? it really sucks everytime more! ok, i don’t expect to see roxette, but i guess if it is european , EVERYTHING MUS T BE EUROPEAN, or 80 euro and 20 american, but everything is american there! what do u think?

I always longed to have the MTV since 92 or so, when they were showing all those Rox stuff there, I always thought “damn why can’t I have a satellite and see the channel”.. now I am in Wien, we have cable tv and MTV.. and I *never* watch that channel, I even thought of deleting it of the channel list so I don’t have to go thru it while zapping!
Thank god we have a kinda OK local music channel and they play old and new videos.. *crossing fingers it stays like this*

Not much different here either. Unless you watch in the mornings, you get programming instead of videos. But there’s MTV2 here that’s all videos all the time—at lest it was when I last saw it. It’s not on a lot of cable systems as yet.
And perhaps the overload of American acts and winners on the Europe broadcast is because those American acts did well in Europe. If Europe didn’t support them, they wouldn’t have been there. . .

i watched the MTV european awards, and thought it was terriable, held in Scotland, should it have been a famous scot presenter !! !, and Only europeans should have performed.
they should of called it MTV US awards take 2, thank god i dont buy most of that shit. as it does not reflect european music market at all.

Unfortunately it seems MTV EMA’s seem to go by whats popular in the UK rather than the rest of Europe as all that pap that was on there is what’s popular in the UK, the UK seems to take its (misguided?) lead from the USA ;)
All this hip hop, R n B (what does that stand for these days....certainly not Rythm n Blues anymore...more like Rubbish n Bollox) ....its all too much bling bling n hangin’ wiv da homies crap, its all about being with the in crowd (coz if you don’t you’ll likely to be shot anyway)
Still.....The Darkness hahahahahahaha best thing on all night! ;)

i have MTV Europe,MCM,VH1,Viva and some others since end of 1992 and i see the difference ...
It’s not just becouse of Roxette,MTV just change its spirit,is’ no longer music TV ,it’s some kind of business TV ,there no more viewers,there just markets....
it’s the same here i Bulgaria,rapers and glazed dolls are everywhere..
It’s no surprise that they win awards,cos TV presents only them..
