The band will arrive in grandiose Darkness style on a horse-drawn carriage to be welcomed at the store by The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College Choir.
They will then meet as many fans as humanly possible in an hour-long signing session at the store.

They are on Atlantic in the US, and yes indeed, their debut album is called “Permission To Land”, but I wouldn’t call their music “underground”, it’s just British hard rock done straight up correct, with a powerpop and 70s glam twist. Picture AC/DC, Slade or prime Def Lep with 70s Freddie Mercury (from Queen) on lead vocals. I wouldn’t call them mainstream either, just good ol rock + roll done right...cuz once they start selling lotsa records (which IS starting to happen in America), people will think they sold out or went mainstream, which is not the case, they didn’t change the music...it’s just that people are catching on, and that’s GOOD!!
BTW, you can buy the album anywhere in the US for $9.99 or less...go to any Tower, HMV, etc, and you will see it placed well upfront...

JJ72 is working on a new album, Ash as well. Pulp’s last album was kinda crap - I miss the “old” style. Oasis is very quiet - our affiliates are redesigning their official site. Blur’s gone all odd - they dont tickle my fancy anymore. I see Suede is working on some new songs with old band mate Bernard Butler (YEY!).... Brit Rock/Pop is my alltime fave music. Especially round 96/97. The only good thing that ever came from the Brits in the last 30 years.

I don’t think anyone can ever replace Freddie Mercury for he was the best showman, singer, frontman, everything... But yeah TD were good. I like them.
