Dunno
Don’t care
Over priced, over hyped, and half that money generated could go to help people but all it does is line some greedy bastards pockets.

agree with over priced and over hyped - dont really care about the oscars itself - just want B M to get the recognition it deserves

Crash was just a stupid film... I only saw it a few weeks ago and I was looking forward to seeing it because of Sandra Bullock, but it was just daft...

I really enjoy watching Oscar (that’s the show that I always want to watch every year). I wish Brokeback Mountain would won though for best picture, and Felicity for best actrees, but Reese did a good job too.
The whole show was entertaining, Jon Stewart did a GREAT job hosting the show, even so much better than what Chris Rock did last year.
Many of my fav actors were there, like Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and of course Tom Hanks.

I’ve not seen either Crash or Brokeback Mountain... but I thought for sure Mountain would walk away with Best Picture.

Crash, i saw that movie in january, with a couple of friends. we kept thinking and talking trying to fix the world.
The same as with “the constant gardener” but i don´t know if it was nominated to any category

The movie industry is feeling a lot of heat from competitors, and movie attendance is down – as was viewership for the Oscar ceremony. While there’s nothing like the big-screen experience, DVDs are far more convenient and less expensive. Ticket prices in my town are outrageous.... and it’s ridiculous, also, to pay $5 for a Coke and $4 for a little bag of stale popcorn.
The Oscar folks were well-behaved this year. Maybe they’ve finally realized that, in the USA, if they make some political comment – one way or the other – they immediately alienate 50 percent of their audience. I thought Jon Stewart was funny... but the movie folks consider him a second-class citizen because he’s a television guy.
And that crap, I mean rap tune that won best song – yeah, right, I’m sure we’ll all be whistling that to ourselves for decades to come, it was SO catchy.
And, sad to say, there just aren’t enough Roxette songs in the movies. Every movie could use at least one, to add some beauty and class.

@ ally77 I think you have to live here( in the US) to be able to understand, or let’s say view from a certain angle, some movies. Same with Dick & Jane, starring Jim Carrey. Me and my friends thought it was hilarious, at the same time in Europe it received some bad reviews because “I want my Telemundo” and “Hola” are not funny unless you live here and you’re familiar with the impact the mexican people have on the everyday life in the US.
Rox On!

I’ve not seen that yet, but I hear all good news about it!
