I was wondering why you think roxette is the best band? and how you became a fan?
I like maries voice and her ways of singe the great songs Per and some times herself writes. the also have have the guts to try different things violins and so on.

Roxette is the best because Per and Marie are complete artists. They sing, compose music, write lyrics, they try different things in music and they’ve got that fancy look ;-)

But why i like Roxette?
I think it’s because i’m a huge fan of Per Gessle’s solo stuff and Gyllene.
I like his songs. He writes good songs, always combined with beautiful melodies.

Roxette is still the best, although they are not the most popular band anymore.
The brains and catchy tunes of Per combined with Marie’s great voice is the best there is!!

I completely agree. Per’s music is the best and Marie sings really well. But I think that I wouldn’t be a fun without having watching them on TV. Everything seems so perfect, and they seem to belong to a different world. They know how to act, and I love the way Per behaves. They have something special.

I remember what Rolf Nygren (EMI Sweedens boss) said in the documentary “Really Roxette”:
“Per has always been a brilliant songwriter, and Marie can sing everything. Even though it‘s not much of a lyric, she can still make it mean something.”
That says pretty much about the whole Roxette-idea, I think. Two sweedish singer-songwriters working in english and making perfect pop-music. And Gessle is definitely amoung the best song-writers in the world when it comes to pop-music.
