Spegelboll is HDCD track

My CD/DVD player is capable to play HDCD’s and
I noticed that track #9 is encoded in HDCD.
I just thought it was odd , why only this track , or why at all ? Anyone knows anything more about it ?

Yes, the box and the CDs are all marked with the HDCD-logo.
