well, i am in cambridge right now, and i ordered the single on the 17th, at the local virgin shop. they didn’d have it on stock, and i still haven’t got it! bloody hell!!!!!!! how can you sell sth. that is not actually there!!!

It didn’t get released.
From experience, my guess is that they got cold feet when they saw the disappointing sales for the Pop Hits Album and decided to pull out.
Just like the release of “Anyone” 3 years ago...
