Rox Flops...

Isn’t it sad ?
If things continue to go as bad as they’re going now in UK, the list of Roxette’s flop singles & albums is going to be much longer than the list of their hits !
Shame.

UK and USA are the most narrow-minded countries when it comes to music.
If you´re for example German or Dutch you are very, very lucky to get a hit over those countries.

flop would be if they wasted millions in promotion

like Michael Jackson!.

But the thing is, Roxette is no Michael Jackson. (Thank god)

I agree with Ferdan.

not being funny , but if roxette came to england for some high profile performances that rock the stage , Like TCOTH on totp germany did , then they would have same success as wicf in UK.

You know what? I never flop, I´m so pretty!

all my love

Stormkeeper, that isn’t true actually... if you’re German or dutch, you’re more likey to get a hit in the UK! Anything other than british, in fact!

Denstandigaresan I still strongly disagree!

British charts and radio’s are filled with crap:

example: I heard the Girls Allowed (or however its spelt) album last week.....there wasn’t one track on it better than Opp Nox....infact the whole album was just a rip off of the Spice Girls....*yawn* boring! been done before.....but I expect anything by them gets 10x more airplay than anything by Roxette.

Sad but true.
Go on supporting Roxette.

I completely disagree too Denstandigaresan, sorry! - you just need to look at the charts to see where the acts are from - it’s pretty clear that there are decent European bands singing in English who aren’t there because they aren’t given a chance, unlike many of the British bands that stations such as Radio 1 adopt - I don’t know exactly but I would guess that in general over three-quarters of the artistes in the Top 40 are from either the UK or the US - anyone got the facts and figures?! - all the best, Rich-UK

Heaven indeed.
I´m not living in the UK but I know there are a lot of talented artists all around Europe but they never get a chance because MTV and UK radiostations only play US and UK music, talented or not.
