”...I can’t live with you
But I can’t live without you -
I can’t let you stay
But I can’t live if you go away
I don’t know just how it goes
All I know is I can’t live with you
I’m having a hard time
I’m walking a fine line
Between hope and despair
You may think that I don’t care -
But I travelled a long road to
Get a hold of my sorrow
I tried to catch a dream
But nothing’s what it seems...”
fav song -dunno...

HEY!! On my way to London, I met Brian May + Roger Taylor!! They were flying on the Concorde at the same time I was going on my flight, on British Airways!! Really cool, nice guys!!!
Too many faves, but right now, if I had to pick three, they would be “You’re My Best Friend”, “One Vision” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”....

LaMan: I am a Queen fan, sometimes more than Roxette. I have met Brian, Roger and John and I have every single DVD and CD and book on Queen. I even have their clock, mirror and etc. More than that, I have the love for Queen and I have always talked about Queen in here. I cannot beleieve you do too. Cheers.
DaminehGessle said on June 25, 2003 05:49:
Wendy: There is no Queen song named “mama” :)
I believe Lily of the Valley is one of the best songs of all time. It just wasn’t on the Greatest Hits albums and most people who tend to like Queen have only listened to their Greatest Hits albums.
Freddie brings tears to my eyes. I will write a book on him one day. He amazes me. I have read anything on him out there. May his soul rest in peace.
Stormkeeper said on June 25, 2003 06:15:
maybe Wendy means “Mama” by Genesis?
or “Mother Love” by Queen?

Yes, I really love Queen, it´s obviously one of the greatest bands in music history. Freddy was a very special one, he was a perfect gentleman, smart, funny, talented, and with an unique voice. One of my favs is Killer Queen, I really enjoy the backing vocals, and the great voice of Freddy
Jackie_Radiorox said on June 26, 2003 04:53:
LOOOOOVE QUEEN!!!!
My fav would prob be - “Show must go on” which was recently murdered on Moulin Rouge. ;) Oooooooh!!!! And “Who wants to live forever?” That song is soooo sad... *sniff*
“There’s no chance for us. It’s all decided for us....” :(

DaminehGessle: is there any good Queen discussion boards (like TDR!) you can recommend me? I´m only looking for active, popular ones (like TDR!) where´s a lot of fans. Thanks.

COOL! They were on Pay Per View the other day! REAlly nifty to catch it.. I am asuming it is the concert at Wembley that they were playing. :)
Vixzter said on July 10, 2003 06:02:
@Jackz: you might have seen the concert they played at Wembley Stadium in ’86. I have the 2 cd set somewhere....it rocks! :)
Wembley Stadium is no longer there :( *sniff* I have so many happy memories..... Bon Jovi...Bryan Adams....Elton John.
Stormkeeper said on July 10, 2003 09:09:
so what happened to WS?? I had no idea it doesnt exist anymore.
Vixzter said on July 10, 2003 14:40:
Its been torn down to be replaced by some new stadium, nothing has been played there for ages (2001 I think the last concerts were Bon Jovi)
The new building is costing lots of money and it isn’t even built yet, theres been a massive debate on how the building should be funded etc.....tis probably costing the British tax payer money in the meantime while they decide what to do.
DaminehGessle said on July 10, 2003 19:39:
Vixzter: As you know, they just released the WS DVD set eh! I bought it as soon as they opened the New Release box haha! I have seen the video so many times but I guess every new Queen item has its own value to me no matter how many times I’ve seen it.
DaminehGessle said on July 11, 2003 05:55:
I don’t have a “to get” list for Queen. I have to have them right on the release date. Oh God meeting them was the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my Queen/Roxette life. I was screaming my *** off hahaha! Others were looking at me in wonder saying: You were a kid when Freddie dieD! And one woman actually told me that. Everyone was well over 30.
Lotty said on July 13, 2003 22:36:
I like this group. My fav song is Bohemian Rhapsody. Maybe ... but there are other great ones, too.
DaminehGessle said on July 14, 2003 05:59:
There are Queen songs that have never been on a Greatest Hits album nor popular but I believe they are the greatest ever. Songs such as March of the Black Queen, White Queen (as it began), You take my breath away, Lily of the Valley, Nevermore. And if you are into very rock stuff: Flick of the Wrist and Dragon Attack and oh so many others. Each Queen album is a Greatest Hits of its own. I even said the exact same words to Brian and Roger when I met them :D. I wish Freddie were still alive so that I could tell him that. Unfortunately I only became a Queen fan in 1988 when I was just 8. No time to meet him and stuff :(
Vixzter said on June 24, 2003 16:22:
I Can’t Live With You is my fav Queen song....followed by.......Delilah LOL at that song, I’m Going Slightly Mad, Hammer To Fall and Another One Bites The Dust..... I’m sure theres more but I can’t think right now.
