Hi!
I would like to buy “Live-ism” but I want to know which edition is better(sound, images, etc):the official EMI VHS or the unofficial brazilian DVD?
Thanks!
PS:I hope that EMI/Capitol will release an official DVD including “Sweden Live”,”Live-ism”and “Crash!Boom!Live!”:what do you think about it?

The official VHS. I have both and the dvd is a digital copy of the vhs version

But the DVD will last a lot longer, and remain in its original condition...

Hej
I’d go for an unofficial DVD, but only for the reasons Chris said, cause after all, it’s not a huge thing as I spected !!
According to a Magazine editor, they plan to release “Look Sharp Live” and “Crash! Boom! Live” in DVD here in Brazil too.
All the best

I Have the DVD and magazine and Here Are my Thoughts.
1. The DVD Is Ripped From the Jpanese Laserdisk [Not VHS], and the quality is a bit better in my comparison.
2. The Sound o nthe DVD is Dolby Digital 5.1 and is 100 Times Better than that on the VHS.
3. It is Impossible to get a NEW Copy of the VHS and Videos Wear out after time so DVD Will last a lot longer and the quality will stay the same.
4. I got my DVD + Magazine for $16 US including shipping to Australia.
Cheers

Will they release CBL and LSL too?
That would be great! Does anybody know when???
LoneGunman said on June 22, 2003 19:55:
Hej arnie
We don’t know “when” it will be released. But we emailed the Editor of the magazine and he said that the sales of “Live-Ism DVD” where really good and they plan to release LSL or/and CBL as soon as possible. But he said it wasn’t 100% sure yet.
Let’s wait and see what happens !! :)

Does anyone have the same problem with playing the DVD (in a European player): On the computer is works fine, but if I play in on the DVD-player at the TV I only get black and white! Anyone got the same problem???
Thanks!
Anarem said on June 23, 2003 00:07:
Um, could it be a NTSC vs. PAL issue that causes the black and white?
ditroia said on June 23, 2003 13:49:
Yep In DVD Set up tell your DVD player ypou have a Pal TV. Or Set you TV to Auto Video Systym and not Pal.

Hi all,
I would LOVE to buy the Live-ism DVD, but I can’t find it anywhere in Australia! Has it even been released here? If anyone knows, please tell me!

I never heard of an official release of “Live-Ism” on DVD, so I thought it’s a bootleg, like you all wrote here before.
But lately I bought this DVD in Saturn (big Record-Shop) in Germany. So it actually cannot be a bootleg because otherwise it would not be allowed to sell it in Germany. Or how did Saturn get this disc?
Strange, isn’t it?
ditroia said on June 25, 2003 04:14:
ahem
There’s like 10 copieso nthere right now. Most without the magazine.
Or try [email protected]
The person who I got mine off of.
Or

I Paid $8.99 + $7 Shipping to Australia, I guess It’s Less with out the Mag. The Mag has some nice pictures and a good history of Roxette but I would’nt sweat it if u can’t get it.

can you describe what’s in the magazine ina as detailed way as possible (i’ve got only dvd ;-(
ChrisWilliams said on June 26, 2003 23:42:
Despite being a fan of the DVD, I disagree that the sound is presented in Dolby 5.1, as is claimed on the front cover.
To be in 5.1, the producers of the DVD would need to have access to the original master tapes of the concert, which is practically impossible for such a release.
edit: grammatical errors :-)
ChrisWilliams said on June 20, 2003 20:07:
I have the DVD. It’s probably just the same quality as a VHS, but will last forever :-)
Plus, the DVD comes with a cool Roxette magazine.
