Anyone else dig - No Angel?
I had a chance to see her in 2000 in this small (well not that small) theatre type place in Toronto along with Tara Mclean. I was four rows away and totally blown away. I am glad that even if it was with Eminem, she got a chance to be heard more. No Angel is a great album!

Hey Jackie!! I saw Dido in NYC on the same tour, with Tara MacLean, at Irving Plaza, standing-room only, and Dido was indeed wonderful!! I was right up front and it was a splendid performance. Tara was great too!! I got pics with Dido and Tara as well, both were really sweet. I find Dido to be a better version of Sarah McLachlan really.
Yeppers, “No Angel” is one of my fave albums as well. I have the 2CD Japanese version now, in a silver slipcase. It has 2 bonus studio tracks, one called “Me” and the other I think (don’t have it on me) “Am I Worth It”, something like that, both great songs. The second disc is 5 remixes.
Yes, her next album is almost done, I think it might be out around September, can’t wait!! 4 YEARS since “No Angel”!!

I am very leary of seeing people that I don’t know. I am just not that keen on having my ears bleed from lousy music. But Dido was like woaaaaah!!
My personal fav from No Angel is “Hunter” (which should ahve gotten more airplay!!!) and “My Lover’s gone”

YEPPERS Jackie, they sure were!! I still have vivid memories from that show, it was that good.
Also, that other Japanese bonus track is called “Worthless”. Both are as great as anything else on the CD. And, unlike you, I’d rather see someone I don’t know and have a hunch they will be great, to be surprised, rather than a group that everyone knows, aka Radiohead or Deftones. ALTHOUGH a band like Radiohead I would want to see regardless cuz every show they do is downright unpredictable and exciting. Deftones or Linkin Park?? NO THANKS!!
Your faves from “No Angel” are very cool. MY perssonal 3 faves are: “Here With Me” (instant classic and even though it was a hit, it was the song that got me into Dido in the first place), “Don’t Think Of Me” (actually Dido’s second single, after HWM + before TY, it sorta flopped), and “All You Want” (considered to be a single, dunno if it was actually released as one), with “Take My Hand” VERRRRRY close behind...the whole CD rules!!

what exactly is the appeal of radiohead..they r horrible really thjey are ..and dont make fun of sarahmclachlan she was what 8 albums under her belt and is one of the biggest selling female artists of all time...dido has 1 top 50 album and 2 top 20 usa singles under her belt...i honestly dont think her album has a chance here cause she waited tooo long

Yes, I’ve a friend who has No Angel, and got a chance to listen to it some time ago. Dido turned out to be more lovable than I’d thought!
Hunter is a great song, Thank You also, reminding me of rain, because when that song was ruling the charts it was wet season in here.
