So will it be available to those of us in North America (namely the U.S.) or what?

Really ALL videos ever made? The video for ’The Look ’95” is missing, isn’t it?

No one knows where this DVD will be released yet. I’m pretty much sure that it won’t be released in the US or in NTSC for that matter.
We know for sure it’s a Region 0 disc, but in PAL system. I hope they do put out an NTSC version, but I seriously doubt it.

Anonymous, according to roxettenews.com, it is region free and PAL format. What is the CinePlayer DVD program? Where can I find it? (I have a DVD player on my computer already, by the way). Please help someone. I’m a deprived USA fan and I REALLY want to be able to get this DVD. Thanks.

If you have a DVD player in your compueter, you don’t have to worry about whether it is NTSC or PAL. Also, since most monitors have a better refresh rate than most tv sets, you are very likely to get a better picture if you are watching the DVD on your computer.

Yup, The Look ’95 is missing from that list...was thinking exactly the same! *Sigh* I don’t own a DVD player! I will buy the DVD anyway, probably (will be interesting to see if its released in the UK!), and worry about shelling out for a DVD player sometime in the new year...I still gotta get my hands on the Marie tour DVD too...seen it plenty...but want my own DVD copy! Oy! The things I do for Roxette...but damn...it’s worth it!

Good to hear the Disc will be RPC-0, so no Rox-Fan will have to uncripple his/her DVD-Player, even if every DVD-Player should be Region Free by principle!
Anyway, I think the limitation to PAL wont be a serious problem, as quite much standalone DVD-Players have a norm converter, and if you use a switching amplifier as the Harman-Kardon AVR DD/DTS Series, you have a norm-converter included in the machine itself. If those things do not apply on you, you also have the chance of watching the DVD on your computer with DVD-Drive and almost every Software DVD Player (Cinemaster Engine preferred). And if you dont have a dvd-capable PC, norm-converters are easy to do-yourself. If you can handle a soldering iron and know how to handle parts, no problem. And if _this_ shouldnt be fact anyway, there are lots of electronic distributors where a norm-converter can be ordered for a price that should be on two DVD’s level.
The only question remaining is if the Macrovision-Bit will be set. It only has effect when you want to copy the DVD on VHS and your DVD-Player isnt Macrovision-hacked, but it can be quite naggy anyway..
Hope nobody got confused ;)

It’s the videos between 1987 and 2001 so was NEL made in 1987 then? I know the single was a summer ’86 smash in Sweden...

Adam I am looking into, weather EMI Oz will release the video here. There is one DVD factory in OZ so It won’t be made here but there is a chance that emi oz may distibute limited copies in the market place. I’ve contacted emi, but the person who handles roxette is on holiday.
Big Surprise.

I don’t know about regular dvd players, but I have lots of region 0 dvd’s, that work with no problem on my cpu and my playstation 2(which was surprising), I don’t think us, USA fans will have a problem.

EMI UK confirmed, that they don’t have plans
to release this DVD in UK. *sigh*
Thank God i live in Germany...
SilverBloo said on October 31, 2001 05:12:
It’s obvious that EMI UK have no plans for anything to do with Roxette anymore.
They are trying to kill off all support for Per and Marie in this country.
We know this. They know this. I’m not sure Per and Marie do.
PS: Region 2 DVDs work in the UK, Europe (some here insist the two are separate entities)... and Japan. Very handy that, as an anime fan... ^___^
