They said that Vapen och Ammunition wouldn’t be adapted into English... long ago, even though in the video for Dom Andra you can see the tape that the girl in the car plays is called “Guns & Ammunition”.

their english stuff sucks...they get covered in the shades by other bands when singing in english. i mean they really don’t have identity in the big markets.

I don’t really like the songs in English, Jocke’s voice sounds too weak, too different than in Swedish. However, from their album Isola in English I like especially the song “Celsius”. I think in Swedish the lyrics are also more meaningful.

Yes, there are videos to the English versions of “Music Non-stop” and “If You Were Here”. IYWH was the first thing I heard/saw by Kent – on MTV, and it was the English version. I’ve also seen the videos of “Things She Said”, and 747... But they’re pretty much like the Swedish vids.

By the way, they did versions in English of their albums “Isola” and “Hagnesta Hill”, but the last two ones they didn’t. I guess they’ve realised it’s better sounding in Swedish.
