five reccomended albums to download and why

so here we go lets reccomend the 5 albums we thnk cud really open peoels eyes to ho we view music...list them by title artists and a small explanation as to why

1.) skin : its an album which while not so successful commercially truly opns your eyes to whatlove, relationships and loss can do to a person..the emotions, its an album that will give you the chills

2.) Little earethqukes : long before she did concept albums there was simple tori and her piano... less about controveys and more about lyrics and emotion this album is still fresh every time listen to it...for methe album was a life saver I would listen to it in my times of greatest depression and realize hey therews someoen who feels exactly like I do and its gonna be ok

3.) swamp ophelia : ok so now this is indeed in regards to sexuality and human relations. Inever heard of the indigo girls till I came out of th closet in high schol and my then “fag hag”made me this stunning mixed tape of songs she thought would help me understand what th world though o me. There was a song called the lanuage or the kiss basically about a kid who’s family disowned her after she came out ..there a verse where she’s outsaide in the snow at christmas looking n on her family having dinner and there was an empty chair there where she once sat...it truly summed up all that I feard was ahead of me...the album is incredibly acopustic and harmony driven and ts one of my all time faves

4.) ode to my family : back when this album came out things in my life were really less than wnderful. Everyone viewed zombie as this antiwar protest song..but if you tookit into conext of the album..the whole thing is about childhood in a family falling apart...as mne was.

5.) the complete boxed set pasty cline>: ok so 4 cd’s of twangy old country music may be a bit of overkill to peopel, but patsy cline has a voce unlike anyone who ever lived...she’s been in love, she’d seen loss, been beaten up by her husband and lost and gained so any things in her life and her music refelcts that..for anyone who doesn’t know music beyond a computer an some scantily cla little bimbo lypsynching someoen elses song get this set

i didt’ include roxette albums cause all the do is mke me happy..which for a long time was the hardest thing for me to be

first of all you aren’t a moderator secondly who taught u to speak like that your mother? i didnt realize which forum i was in...this is exactly why i don’t like people in general because of peopel like you LARS wake up ...this keeps up nooone is ever gonna visit this forum

I have never heard of a Cranberries album named ’Ode to my Family’. Is that a U.S. version of ’No Need to Argue’ or did u just make a mistake?

(I assume that this topic will get moved to Off-topic, so I’m going to reply here and hope it doesn’t get deleted!). Coyboyusa, have you heard any of the other Indigo Girls’ albums? “Swamp Ophelia” is my least favourite of them (except for “Strange Fire”)... I think they’re all brilliant, I absolutely love them. Check out K’s Choice if you like IG... “Cocoon Crash” is a less acoustic album than the IG albums usually are, but FANTASTIC... “Almost Happy” is extremely melancholy but a beautiful album I think you would enjoy. Check ’em out and let me know what you think!

copy kills music
