coldplay overrated?

am i the only 1 who thinks that coldplay is such craap.... they play their songs all the time... an they r so boring... an sound the same... why they so much airplay for them:(

Actually, Coldplay DESERVE their success!! They are the ONLY band in a long time loved by the masses, the critics, AND me!! And Wendy!! I think Radiohead are pretty good, but I like Coldplay better, they remind me a LOT of a-ha!! The first album was very good, but “A Rush Of Blood To The Head” is just sheer perfection!! My favourite is the song “Clocks”!!
I’m with you Wendy, Coldplay is AWESOME!!

Don’t own either one of their albums but like some of their stuff. But yes, in a long run, they tend to get very boring. Overrated - that’s what they surely are! They definitely aren’t that good!

Coldplay is good, but NOT better than Roxette.
And ON is not overrated (it has not been rated at all...yet). ON is a very good song.

I ADORE Coldplay - every1 should give them a listen. And Radiohead is in my top 10 bands of alltimes, Vix.
I love Brit music - Miss Medusa can tell u guys about that. Everything from Ash and Manic Street Preachers, to Ocean Colour Scene and Suede. Britrock bands are awesome, they make musica music - i.e. music for the soul.

PS: Coyboy, the britrock bands are as original as one can get. Have u heard Radiohead’s Amnesiac, Kid A or OK Computer? Coldplay’s Parachutes and A Rush of Blood To The Head? Have a listen to Suede, the new Oasis, Manics, Ash, Skunk Anansie, Bis, Ocean Colour Scene, Gomez, etc. They kick originality’s ass!

its coz they have a record company that likes them ;) and so will put money forward for promo.....ppls get brainwashed coz they hear stuff all the time.....and then those same ppls go out and buy that stuff......coldplay = poor mans radiohead (who also don’t hink much of) ;)
