YIN - YANG

Been listening to Rox old stuff and new...and noticed that since TWATG, Per sings awesomely better....his voice really “outs” now...it’s lot more groovy and cool.

In the other hand, it seems that Marie’s voice became bitter...I mean, lost that sweetness (then it becames bitter, duh) from before...like in the first words of LTYH, or even R2U...why??

People voices change...

I don’t agree with you TinyTim.
Marie’s voice in “Milk + Toast + Honey” is as sweet as before.

i dont agree, peoples voices do change.
i like marie more now anyone IWICF breathe, it has more feeling in it than before.

I’m not saying she lost feeling now, I’m just saying she didn’t lose the vulnerability in her voice. She still sings songs with sweetness in her voice and is now able to perform with even more feeling than before. Is that OK this way ???

sorry i was disagreeing with tinytim not you. your right
i was writing out load lol

Anyway, I still think Marie sound great and Per has improved a lot.
But I think Marie’s voice has dropped a little bit. Even she said it herself that her voice has dropped.

Yes, that’s what I think...I mean, that’s what I meant. She keeps singing gorgeously, but it sounds a bit harder to her now...dunno if I’m getting to some point...it feels like if she only could do that in very special ocasions or...songs.

well, after years of touring, smoking, and just plain old middle age, you know it’s going to take a toll on a person’s voice. Marie has said it herself that her voice isn’t as light as it used to be.

I still think Marie sounds great, just take a listen to “För dom som älskar” from when she performed it live at the Artister Mot Nazister concert and compare it with the version she sings on Den Sjunde Vagen– both songs are great, but Marie sings with much more soul in the 2001 version.

I like her voice much more now than -for example- in Look Sharp! times.

Talking about Yin-Yang... Did you see the Yin_Yang in the ON video?
