I caught a train to travel from Valencia to Stockholm, that is about 2500 Km. Everyone told me I was nuts, but I just did! :p
In fact no one expects many things I do... but as that test of the sheeps said, I’m very random :D

Pack my things into my Renault Clio and travel from Lleida (Spain) to Vienna (Austria) in 3 days (2 nights, one in Lyon, another near München) to live with my girlfriend!
Everybody told me I was nuts, that the trip was too long (2100km), that I had never driven further than 250km a day, bla bla...but well I made it :)
Love is all :D

When I was 15 I bought cable television subscription on my own head. My parents were in shock when they came home and found out. But we still have it :).

People often wonder why I travel on my own and ask “don’t you get scared”.... NO NO & NO!!!... they usually reply “oh no I’d get lost”??.
My reply: Don’t knock it till you have tried it.
I only go lost once and that was the first time I went to Stockholm!! Lucky for me I took the underground and walked for 10 mins when I came back up to the street I was outside the hotel I was staying at!!

@ebay...shit. it’s a pity you didn’t tell your ex wife you are gay BEFORE you married her.
LittleSpooky said on April 22, 2005 18:48:
e: Just out of curiosity, how did your family take it? Should I ask how the ex took it... or just leave that one well enough alone?
ncurran said on April 22, 2005 20:30:
pumpkins, youd be surprised how many gay men are married to women. Its easy to criticise, but the its the pressure of society and family that causes it. If people were more excepting, it would probably never happen.
As for me, i gave up a good paid, but very stressful and mind numbingly boring job at IBM to go and teach in south korea for 2 years. That shocked a few people, but its the best decision i ever made
pumpkins said on April 22, 2005 20:56:
@ ncurran...I accept that but don’t you think it’s a very selfish thing to do? Do gay men know they are gay before they get married? If they do, why are they so cruel to marry girls under false pretences? How would you feel? If you are not sure if you are gay then just sleep with a woman and find out if it is for you. If it is not, then don’t get married. I think that is so cruel. I can not think that ebays wife was not broken hearted. He doesn’t mention children so let us hope that there were none.
ally77 said on April 22, 2005 20:59:
@ pumpkins .... the same can be said for women, there are many “Gay” women out there who hide away and get married to feel normal but years later “Come Out”,
It’s a real shame there are still a lot of small minded people in world that this has to happen!
However I am sure the odd wedding / split due to one partner being gay sometimes happens because the person in question just did not know....

once when I was a small kid I accidentally pushed a motobike(with a buddy seat), it rolled down a hill and smashed into a..dont know what it‘s called - a table with benches around and a roof fixed above, luckily there was no one there, I was shocked- I thought the bike was on breaks.

I drove to Sweden with a tent in the back of my car and stayed there for 3 months, travelling and working. I never left my hometown for a longer period than 3 weeks, so people thought I would get homesick (but I didn’t).

I took up driving lessons and I’ve kept to it, to the point where I am now ready for my test. If you knew me personally, you would know this is something I would never ’normally’ do.
