I´m so glad (and surprised) you guys like Flashdance!! Wonderful movie, brilliant soundtrack!
I´ve seen it at least 3 times I think.

@Vaxjoe:
Yes, there’s a soundtrack for “Interview With A Vampire” I know that because I have it.
The most part of the soundtrack includes the musical score of the film. I bought it because I love those kind of music. Especially the piano music when they show Claudia.
The last track of the CD is a song by Rolling Stones, I think the name of the song is “Sympathy for the Devil”. It was the song played in the end when Lestat was driving.
@Santi:
I also have the soundtrack for ’The Piano’, although I haven’t seen the movie. I discovered the music because when I was in highschool there was this girl who played ’The Heart that Asks Pleasure’ on the piano and I loved it. So, I bought the music sheet (so I could play it) and the soundtrack (so I could listen to it).
@Vaxjoe:
About the Cruel Intentions CD. Those two (“Every U and Every Me” and “Bitter Sweet Symphony”) you’ve mentioned are some of my favourites. The following songs which are Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”, Counting Crow’s “Colorblind”, Craig Armstrong’s “This Love” and Abra Moore “Trip On Love” are also some of my favourites.
@Stormkeeper:
You are right. Flashdance is a great soundtrack. I also love that song. I loved it so much that I sang it in highshool back in ’96.
............
Speaking of movies. I also love the sad musical score in ’Ginger Snaps’, the music however wasn’t included in the soundtrack. But I found the website where it can be downloaded.
For any of you who are interested to listen to it the following is the link. It also has the sound effects from the film. The sombre music is by Michael Shields.

Also, I recommend you see the movie. It is quite enjoyable.

@Twilight-Ghost: so how about other songs on Flashdance soundtrack? Not often ALL songs on the album are good!
I love the movie too. Somehow sad movie. What a pity Jennifer Beals only had a short period on the spotlight.
Stormkeeper said on February 8, 2003 09:45:
@vax: so is there really Desperately Seeking Susan soundtrack?
vaxjoe said on February 8, 2003 09:59:

@Stormkeeper: Yes, I love most of the songs in ’Flashdance’. They have good rhythm (Seduce Me Tonight, Romeo, Flashdance, Manhunt, He’s A Dream, Maniac) and the ballads (Lady....., I’ll be there where the heart is) are really good. I even liked the movie’s musical score “Flashdance Love theme” (performed by Helena St. John)
I think Giorgio Moroder is one of my favourite songwriters. (apart from Per Gessle, Diane Warren and David Foster).
He wrote the melody for “Flashdance - What a Feeling”, “Flashdance-love theme”, “Lady, Lady, Lady (from Flashdance soundtrack)”, “Call Me” (by Blondie), “Take My Breathe Away (Berlin)”, “Together in Electric Dreams” just to name a few.
