Hey everyone,
I’m lucky enough to get to go to Europe in April/May. This is my first time leaving Canada so I am really excited.
I was hoping to get some suggestions for restaurants/sights/insider info/etc from any fellow Roxette fans.
My itinery is as follows:
London-Paris-Antwerp-Amsterdam-Berlin-Munich-Rome
Thanks for any suggestions you guys :)

I’ve been in Munich and apart from traditional Marienplatz and so on, don’t forget to visit Englischer Garten, that is the biggest urban park in Europe. If you have a sunny day it will be very nice to have a beer in there ;)
Deutsches Museum is a science museum, very complete and interesting :)
Another thing that I liked a lot is the Olimpiapark. You know, summer olympics 1972 were held in Munich. Though they’re sadly remembered because of the Israeli palestinian thing, there’s a big tower you can go up with a lift and there’s the stadium where Bayern Munchen plays :)
Then there’s also the BMW tower, near to Olympiapark. I guess you can visit something in there, I didn’t go anyway.

London -
the obvious places like Buckingham palace and that kinda stuff... Tower Bridge, Houses Of Parlaiment (Big Ben) and Westminster Abbey.
those are the tourist attraction... other cool places are:
PICCADILLY CIRCUS: cos theres so much to do there! theres the waxworks at Maddame Tussauds, and loadsa other kewl stuff to do around the area! Harrods is at Knightsbridge, Oxford Street is great for shopping, and Hamleys (finest toy store) is on a road leading off Piccadilly Circus... not sure what its called though. possibly Regent Street! LOL!
Have a nice time!!!! :)

thanks everyone :)
Stockholm is on my list of places to go on my second and hopefully longer trip! I really want to go there too.

One more suggestion:
If you’re travelling from Munich to Roma, don’t forget to stop some time in the middle. I know that for a Canadian Europe’s nature maybe is not that impressive, but making a stop in the Alps (Swiss, Italian or Austrian...) is something to take into account. ;)
It’s really the best landscapes in Europe... if you forget about the Basque Country (my place :p) and Croatian coast probably. :D

Oh, you’re gonna have a gr8 journey!
I love esp. Rome!
I’m sorry, I can’t give you insider-infos.
But when you arrive at Rome, at the airport or at the station, there are everywhere touristinfo-points, where you can get some small folders about Rome - for free!
Enjoy your trip to good old Europe!
And if you come to visit Europe a second time, you should also come to Vienna, there are lots of sights to visit, and then I can give you tons of infos :)

If you get time visit the London Dungeon (near Tower Bridge somewhere) twas excellent when I was last there.....better than Madame Tusaurds (can’t spell that) and Rock Circus, they both suck *imho* ;)

@Aaso: If you’re going to Sweden you should consider visiting Stockholm! Definitely! I’ve been living there (well, I visited the other cities as well) and it’s the best in Sweden, much better than Göteborg!
(Ok, if there is someone from Göteborg here will want to kill me :s) :D
Aaso said on March 12, 2003 03:39:
oh Cool I will visit all the advised places... But I’m gonna to live in Goteborg.... Santi.. So it can be boring there??
I have applied to a university and I will go to Sweden and live with my cousin who lives in Goteborg :))))))
Santi said on March 12, 2003 18:21:
If it’s because of University Ok, it’s a very good one :D
I just say that I find Stockholm much cooler than Göteborg, though, on the other hand, Göteborg is one of the sunniest cities in Sweden ;)
