Roxette hit their peak...

Everybody keeps saying, Roxette hit their peak, or was the most successfull everywhere in 1991.
Looking at the German Chart History, that is not true. In Germany, the Album Joyride never reached Number one, but Tourism was Number one for more than a month. And How do you do was Number one in Germany. Years Later, sleeping in my car was a huge hit in Germany, not just in the Radio. It was in the offical Top 10. This made it a bigger Hit in Germany than Spending my Time, The big Love, Church of your Heart, or even Dressed for Success... and The Album C!BB!B! was in the German Top ten for half a year.... I think that was the Peak of Roxette’s Success in Germany... And this is quite some achievment, keeping in mind that Germany is one of the three biggest Music Markets in the World.
Anyway, this is just some thought I had and wanted to share with whoever would be interested...
Thanks for reading.

I don’t care when Roxette had their peak... whether in ’91 or ’94 - as long as they keep on making music it doesn’t matter to me.
And Sleeping In My Car didn’t reach the top 10 in Germany.

The Joyride Album was No.1 in Germany for 13 consecutive weeks in the official Media Control Charts and sold more than 2 million copies in Germany during 87 weeks in the Top 100 and got quadruple platinum here. It is the most succesful scandinavian album in german music history.

Sorry, got wrong information then.
Apologies from my site.

Lots of wrong info there..

HDYD ’only’ reached no. 2 in Germany.
SIMC never broke into the Top 10 (peaked at no. 11 though) which makes it
a smaller hit than Spending My Time, for example.
