"Breathe" gets radio airplay in Portugal

I am completely outblown when i started to listen to Breathe yesteday on the radio in my country five time per day...wow....it’s obvious it’s only radio promotion and not intended to be a single release as much...but i am happy to see such great song waving hands into portuguese radios...In fact portuguese radios are always giving airplay to all roxette songs old or new they all get there quite often i must say...”Breathe” is now in that list too:)

What about you guys?

I can completely assure you( I am a DJ) that ” Breathe” is listed on the “Euro Exclusive” compilation for the late December, and this is a promo CD for all the radios around Europe. So it could actually get some airplay- would be very good for us!

This is definitely a good idea... “Breathe” is gorgeous, and I can’t think of a single reason NOT to release it to radio stations worldwide!

Yes, I would also like to know how the DJs announce “Breathe” and what they say about it. There seems to be a lot of buzz at radio for “Breathe.” I had no idea radio stations could just happily pick up unreleased songs like this and play them. I guess it’s different outside the USA.

Here’s an idea which I think would be new and cool - yet of course it would never happen.

Since ’The Pop Hits’ is coming out in March with “Opportunity Nox” to hit radio next month, release “Breathe” as a single late fall 2003 to give ’The Ballad Hits’ another push at the end of 2003. Then perhaps release another new song from ’The Pop Hits’ for spring 2004, assuming no new Rox album is coming out. Just a different marketing idea. Then again, when was EMI about good marketing? :/
