BREATHE AS FIRST SINGLE INSTEAD OF ATAY

I love both songs but I find “Breathe” much more emotional, better as a first single than the other one.

absolutly not, if Breathe was the first single I think that sales would go even worst than they are going now, I’m not saying is a bad song but it’s not good for a “re-lauching” campaing.

I also prefer ATAY as first single, because Breathe is more typical as a Roxette ballad, while ATAY is more unexpected due to Per’s singing and the cello.
And as first single it’s important to release something that sounds different, I think.
BTW, I prefer ATAY to Breathe ;)

ATAY is good!!!!!!!!!! very good.. for all those of who think that BREATHE is more Radio friendly then YES.. Maybe u r right but ATAY is tongue-catching means everybody who hears it starts singing it very easily. THAT is the most strongest point of ATAY and BREATHE is on a much higher note to sing. Anythign which can catch your tongue is a good choice as the first single.

OK BREATHE isn’t that bad if u take it for a B-side but NOT as a single!!! Even IT HURTS, SEE ME (“the Enya-Song”), EVERY DAY and TWOTW were better!!! And the instrumental part sounds like I en tid som vår in the beginning and in the end it sounds like Anyone!!!
ATAY definetly was the right choice!!!
That’s my opinion!

Well, I do think that Breath is much better than ATAY, but it is so much the style of It must have been love or I don’t want to get hurt...
when I put the TBH on at home, my mother in law started to sing along to ATAY after only hearing it once, and so did my wife... both of them were like: “Hey, I like this song, it’s a nice one...”
So I guess, ATAY is a better sing along song...
