Let me tell you one thing: Per Gessle is Per Gessle and Darren Hayes is still Darren Hayes. I’m a big fan of both of them. I met Darren four weeks ago. I can tell you he is absolutely nothing like Per. They don’t move, act or speak in the same way. Nor do they look very much alike. I can tell cos I have seen both of them standing next to me. Anyway, the first time I’ve heard of the Savage Garden was when I read an interview about them on the magazine 4 or 5 years ago, when they first had their first single ’IWY’ out. The interview was that (the one I posted above).
When I read what they’ve said. I wrote a letter to the magazine and said something like “Savage Garden should be proud that they were even being compared to Roxette, who had so many great songs”. But I didn’t get to send it.
Anyway, I still like SG, especially they were very big here (their hometown). But in the back of my head I dislike them for what they said about Roxette.
It is just in general. I don’t like people who say negative things about other people that I like.
If things like that happen I always choose who I like more. And in this case, I like Roxette more.

I even palyed a game on the radio( I’m a DJ) asking people which one was the “newborn child”. And guess what, people recognised TMD and said it was the original but ofcourse no one got rewarded.
