Per makes an appearance at Gothenburg book fair

GOTHENBURG (Updated) - Per Gessle will take part in a seminar September 29 at 15:00 CET at the Gothenburg Book Fair. He will talk about the new book about him. Entrance fee is 400 SEK plus VAT (45€). The price is not just for the seminar that Per will attend, but for the whole day.

The fair, which opens today, is being held at Svenska mässan (where Per played for PriceWaterhouse a few weeks ago.)

SVT24 will broadcast the seminar on Friday October 5 at 14:40

I think Tev, that the price that you gave here is wrong. Just look on the information on Bokmässan website. You have to have seminariekort, not miniseminariekort, if you want to see Per.

- Saturday - 640 kr (without VAT), 200 kr for students (with VAT)

Too bad I’ve arranged a trip to the Göteborg book fair tomorrow, but since it’s only about an hour away I guess I could get there on my own at Saturday :)

Like tomos85 said, if you’re a student a seminar pass for the whole Saturday is just 200 SEK (incl VAT). And like the other seminar passes this includes entrance to the fair, which is really, really fun to be at if you enjoy books :)
It’s like heaven on earth, seriously.

Edit: Train tickets for Saturday purchased :)

I didn’t ask about Roxette’s future, because I knew that there was no proper answer he could give me. So it would make no sense to ask him about the same old thing all over again.

Meeting was very nice. We’ve listened to two demos from biography-extra-cd (about 40 sec. of ’Saken slår mej som på huvudet!’ - horrible quality and then 2 min. of ’Dansar nerför ditt stup i rekordfart’ which is... Soul deep demo!). Marie Dimberg and Per’s wife Åsa were on the audience. There was a SVT team and guy from Aftonbladet, so I think there’ll be some kind of reportage after that. I’ve recorded few films (including those with demos) - I’ll put it on youtube later this day :) And there was no book - just some kind of brochure, but unfortunately, when I asked one of the women who was with Per (don’t know who was it) if there was any brochures left, she said no and gave me AdLibris leaflet with Per’s biography-ad instead :)

The most interesting parts in my humble opinion:

The quality ain’t that good, but if you turn up the volume you can at least hear what he’s saying (if you understand Swedish that is).
If someone is really desperate it was possible to purchase an audio recording from the Göteborg book fair for 200 SEK (+ VAT)

I gotta say I look forward to the book release!

Well, you can always e-mail them and ask if you’re interested in purchasing it :)

I wonder if it’s 6 or 25 % VAT. It’s probably 25 %... (note for non-Swedes. Sweden got 6 % VAT on audiobooks.)

Per Gessle samtalar om sin karriär med Per Sinding Larsen, musikjournalist, SVT och musikjournalisten Sven Lindström som skrivit boken “Att vara Per Gessle”. En personlig skildring av Per Gessle och ett stycke musikhistoria från 60-talet och framåt. Inspelat den 29/9 på Bok & Bibliotek 2007 i Göteborg.

That means that 24 Direkt is going to broadcast whole meeting with Per.

I’ve watched SVT2-version and as far as I know it wasn’t disturbed with the news at 3 o’clock, but then, after goodbye from Larsen, nothing more was showed.
