Ok... Im a quite a singer ( ofcourse *LOL* ) and would like to learn how to play the Guitar. What I want to play ... Well guess... Ohgee... Gessle ofcourse *G* ... I do alot of singing together with a good friend who plays the guitar. Most songs like.:

There are many considerations when buying a guitar to learn on. I’ll list some, but bear in mind that I’m only a beginner myself, so someone else might have better advice.
There are two types of guitars to consider: Nylon string or steel string. Each has it’s own advantages and disadvantages.
Nylon string guitars are usually cheaper than steel string guitars. Their strings are also softer, and thus less painful to start on. The other positive thing about nylon strings is that the neck of the guitar is a bit broader, so the strings are further apart. That way, you need less “accuracy” with your fingers! Off course, this is also a negative aspect of the nylon string guitar: due to the neck being as narrow as that of a steel string, it is more difficult to reach the top strings in the beginning.
Personally, I’ll suggest getting a nylon string to start on. But it is really up to you to decide.
