On my Argentina Press of A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! (Spanish Version) CD that´s different length of 5 Songs/Tracks according to the International Release.

A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! (Spanish Version) Argentina CD:

Dressed For Success (4:11)
Listen To Your Heart (5:14)
Spending My Time (4:35)
Almost Unreal (3:58)
Milk And Toast And Honey (4:04)

A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! (International Version) EU/Holland and Bulgarian CD:

Dressed For Success (4:00)
Listen To Your Heart (4:55)
Spending My Time (4:27)
Almost Unreal (3:49)
Milk And Toast And Honey (4:04)

It´s not that much different on the length of Milk And Toast And Honey on A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! (Spanish Version) Argentina CD according to A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! (International Version) EU/Holland and Bulgarian CD but however it´s a different length written/printed even though it´s only 1 second.

Is there anyone else who have noticed/seen that?

Your posts are getting harder to understand...

What a mess. Why don’t you say the “Hits” instead of “A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs!”. We will understand anyway.

I know that there are many people who are saying Hits instead of A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs!

I say the right full Title because it´s the way you will say it. So Room_Service do you think that it´s wrong and stupid to say the right title A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! ? I´m saying A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! everytime when I´m talking and writing about it.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me (in 5 words or less) why one second per song is worth typing ALL that out?

@purplemedusa: Here’s one word. Boredom.

And since I’m slightly bored too...

What Earth is essentially saying, is that people who bought the International version, has been cheated by appoximately 47.34673 seconds (I’ve added a couple of milliseconds to acccomodate M&T&H which seems to have the same track length on both CDs, but somehow made Earth’s list anyway).

So, if you don’t have A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! yet, get the Spanish version!

:P

Well technically you exceeded the 5 word limit by 72 words; but granted the 47.34673 seconds (and those milliseconds) do make a huge difference!

Thus, a WARNING to those people wanting to buy the Spanish version; this particular branch of EMI wants to steal 47.34673 seconds of your life - and sneak heavens’ know what kind of un-audible sound waves into our brains!

The songs were shortened a bit due to the inclusion of “No sé si es amor” (4.42) instead of “A thing about you” (3.47).

The total running time of the standard edition is 79:37 minutes. If you replace ATAY with the Spanish track it makes a running time of 80:20 minutes. Since the CD has a storage capability of 80 minutes only, they had to cut out the songs a little. They fade out a few seconds earlier, that’s all. No big deal.

I think that if had to pick one, the Spanish is better. All songs on Hits were already released remastered on the Ballads and Pop hits. “No Se Si Es Amor” wasn’t remastered before, so if you’re a hardcore Rox fan, the spanish one is a nice treat. I own the euro one by the way.

@Room_service

You and me gets a different Length of the CD. On the International Versions I have (CD: EU/Holland And Bulgaria And On Cassette/MC: Indonesia) The Length is 75:53 Minutes And Seconds and on the Spanish Version I have (CD: Argentina) the length is 75:52 Minutes And Seconds.

I forgot to say in the first Post in this Topic that I also have A Collection Of Roxette Hits - Their 20 Greatest Songs! Indonesia Cassette/MC

By the way. When I was looking in the Booklet on my copies of the EU/Holland and Bulgaria Press of the International Version on the 11th Page/Side it is written on 1 of the links that Roxette recommends on the www.mariefredriksson.se Link with the Text www.mariefrediksson.se . There is no r between the d and k. This is a Mispress/Wrongpress.

It’s a booklet, that wouldn’t count as a record pressing.

“The Spanish Version I have (CD: Argentina) the length is 75:52 Minutes And Seconds”

You are CRAZY! I just put the CD on the player and it says the total lenght is 79.43, to be more exact. Your CD-player must be wrong, check it! If the lenght was 75.52, what is the point in cutting the songs off?

Hey, where do you have to go to get the international versions if you don’t already have them? Maybe I missed something but this is the first of these I’ve heard of.

Angl_Tht_Rox84, what did you mean to say? I don’t understand.
