Never forget

sometimes I get upset because of some negative comments about Roxette and about the fact that they are no more able to have the success they had in the past. To be honest, their last masterpiece has been “a thing about you” of 2002. We know what happened afterwards.
Anyway, we should never forget that this duo has granted the world not one or two, but around 20 songs (some are masterpieces, some are not) which everybody who has a radio has listened to and maybe would be able to sing.
Their first greatest hits was entitled “Don’t bore us, get to the chorus”. No other title could have expressed better what the have achieved. People all over the world could sing together in a language which is not theirs. And this is so rare when we are talking about pop songs. Pop artists often are a one hit singer. Per and Marie have been and are still different.
Try to think about The Look, Dangerous, Listen to your heart, It must have been love, Joyride, Fading like a flower, Spending my time, How do you do, Queen of rain, Almost unreal, Sleeping in my car, Crash! Boom! Bang!, You don’t understand me, Wish I could fly, The centre of the heart, Milk and toast and honey, A thing about you.... around 15 years of hits worldwide.
We should never forget this!
