Mr Gessle, we have come to the conclusion (daft as we are) that your song ’SIMC’ is an exact copy of the song ’JennyAndI’ by Mr Malmstedt. A bribe helped us to decide that you will not only have to pay an indescribable high fine but that you also will have to go to prison for - wait a moment, please, we’ll let the dices decide - Well, you’ll also have to go to prison for eight years. Bye, bye, Mr Gessle. Take him away!”

Half a year later at a benefit show on TV.
Host: “And now I’m very proud to present you a great piece of music: The fabulous Stephan Malmstedt and his band Roxette performing ’Jenny AndIWereSleepingInMyCar’. Applause, applause!”

My God, I really should go to bed now. I’m writing the greatest sh** on earth! Good night. ;o))))))))))

Then Per found that Asa and Niklas were lovers in the past.
One night when Asa went to Niklas’s flat (fugitive love) she took a tape (the demo tape!) because she thought it could be interesting...
So she remembered the melody and then she sang it to Per.
And that’s why Per was influenced by this Jenny and I.
