I’ve got the censored version too and where can I find that uncensored version of the Anyone Video ,and is it worth it?

You can find it in all the roxette’s video collections and maybe in the “stars” cds. I agree with cowboy when he says that this is probably on of the “mature” things they made, which unfortunately has been censured by MTV because of the suicide attempt of Marie. Even the piano at the end of the song gives a wonderful touch to this great song, which I love even in the spanish version!

Hmm, I was actually about to dare making the same request as roxboy2006...
I also don’t think I’ve ever watched this censored version of the “Anyone” video, and sure would love to (so much that I love both the song and the video of it, I’ve always been curious how that other version of this video looks like)...
Yet I think I recall to have watched a particular scene, when the video was first shown on TV here, which doesn’t appear in the uncensored version; it was very much in the beginning of the video, still before the singing starts, if I remember it right, and there was Marie standing outside the hotel, back against the wall... Would this scene be part of the censored version, would that be it?... (Or it just doesn’t appear anywhere, and I’ve dreamt things?! :P Or perhaps it’s some “making of” kind of scene, and it got shown mixed with the video at the time?... o_O This really has me wondering ever since 1999...)

I have nothing to say about the video, but the song lyrics in Spanish are terrible.

It‘s amazing. God, the colours are incredible!! In fact the videos from the HAND era are my favourite ones.

Mmm, I never liked it. Maybe it´s because I also hate that song. I think it´s one of the worst choice as single.. boring and tedious

a friend of mine told me that the song suonded similar to “don’t cry for me argentina”. I don’t think so. The song was great as a single, but the mistake was to release it immediateli after WICF. Second single of HAND should have been Crush on you.

I don’ t like this song but video is amazing. Great colours, great location, great idea. Emptiness. There’ s always many people in the hotels, on the beaches, swiming pool... But in the video - empty hotel, empty beach, empty roads (people are closed inside in their cars and Marie is again lonely there outside), really great video. Video full of contrasts.

The video is peopleless because it was shot in spring I guess, I saw a documentary about this clip and even crew was wearing jackets... :-) Poor Marie... But IMHO videos from HAND are my FAVOURITES (and vulnerable and REAL SUGAR as well :-)) The atmosphere is so touching....

I love the song and the video i think it is one of the best songs off the HAND album

in the beginning i hated all the hand videos, but lol i had only seen the ” censored” anyone video, when i got the single I seriously fell in love, its one of the few ” mature” things they’ve ever done, and the double piano intro really makes the song so much better.....i really imagined them making a camoy 60’s video with marie in a diner falling in love with a guy who rejects her, all kinds of corny stuff, but the actual video is great, it’s also a killer live song
