Looks like Roxette might get a mention on Counter Culture - Sweden tonight on SBS (20:30).

Thanx for the heads up, I think Roxette needs all the publicity it can get. Its Amazing how many aussies really do love Roxette, they just need a reminder, and I am sure their popularity would increase again.
Where I work we have music playing in the shop, and every time I put a Roxette CD on, so many people of all ages hear it and start singing away to themselves, sometimes thier friends say “who’s this, I remember them, I used to love them” Then sadly it seems that no one seems to know much of their music beyond the Crash album. Quite often though with the newer stuff, HAND and RoomService, people will say who’s this and I tell them, and they say “this is great”, I thought Roxette broke up a long time ago, So I do my bit and tell them whats going on, and tell them to go and Buy the CD, my little bit to keep the Roxette spirit alive.

I was quite surprised at what they showed as well. I was expecting some of the Joyride clip or similar.

The comment sounded like it was aimed at Roxette though. I found myself trying to pick out and listen to the song rather than the comment hehe.

It wasn’t anything amazing. Just pointing out a few bands from Sweden that made it big in the rest of the world. The part with Roxette lasted only about 10seconds, and it’s not like they said anything good about them (at least the way i heard it)
