Is there anyone on here from around the Southampton area? I’m thinking of moving there in the new year (being in love makes you do crazy crazy things like that!!), and was wondering is any Roxer’s live around there??

and no Southampton is not the best of places to be wearing a Pompey shirt but then you wouldnt wear a Saints shirt in Pompey either, well not unless you had a death wish or something ;-)

If u like ure footie the Saints play in the centre of town at the St Marys Stadium (right near Kuti’s) ;-)
What else do I know about Southampton......
Its not far from Bournemouth although summer time the road is packed! its not far enough away from Portsmouth (best part of that its Gun Wharf Quays, outlet shopping) atleast its seperated from the Isle Of Whight by the most exspensive stretch of water per mile in the world.
Its the Boat Show soon, avoid central Southamton for atleast a week unless you like looking at boats you cant afford.
Southampton is one of the UK’s major cruise ports now, all the big boats come in here including that monster thing that was in not that long ago, no idea what it was called but it was hideous! The Queen Mary II and the QE II both dock here ;-)
I was there saturday, tis an hour and 15mins from either Oxford or London, maybe a little longer to London, its got an airport too ;-P
I’m full of useful info me ;-) let me know whereabouts ure thinking of moving to, maybe i can give u the lowdown on that area

what do you wanna know about Southampton? all i know is its got better shops, cinema and bowling than oxford but thats not really a hard act to follow ;-)
if you’re gonna move there then let me know and we can hit the town ;-)
