she has a new track out called Tonights The Night out in the UK(people do release things over here unlike some) on october 2nd

All I know about Gina G is she represented the UK in Eurovision 1996, with a crappy song called “Ooh aah... just a little bit”. One of the worst British entries during the 90’s, in my oppinion. Even worse than Samantha Janus, blehhh!

gina g actually came 8th in 1996 eurovision but the song was a massive hit reaching #1 in UK and #12 in US. She released more singles through 1996-1997 before getting tangled up in contractual problems her hits were as follows

Ti Amo UK#11
Gimme Some Love UK#25
Every Time I Fall UK #52

She released a 2nd album in 2005 through her website and is due to release her new single soon. she has her own myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/ginagmusic

Ah well we used to hold the record for the most points awarded to 1 country - 227 for Katrina And The Waves. Now we don’t cos of the semi final and every country casting votes-that took so long year before last, hence they don’t read out the first 8 anymore...

No, Gina G didn’t win. Maybe that song was a massive hit there, but personally I think it is awful. It’s a cheap number. The studio version of “A message to your heart” by S. Janus is not that bad. But every time I watch her live performance in Rome, I wan’t to cry! It’s so bad! She had no voice at all.

Katrina is American, and the last British winner to date. The UK went downhill in the contest in the latest years. The worst result ever was in 2003, when the duo Jemini got 0 points!

They claimed it was rigged that year cos of war on Iraq-all I know is that her monitor wasn’t working, thats why she sung so bad. Its even more humiliating considering the UK pays for it (as do Germany, France and Spain (hence auto qualification)).

Ah well, pop justice does often get delivered on Eurovision-that Brian McFadden written one got denada in 2004. HA HA HA!
