Outstanding movie.

However, if you are prone to getting queasy / headaches from a lot of action, DO NOT SIT CLOSE TO THE SCREEN!!!!!

Sit in Row 6 and back. I forgot that (learned that when Twister came out), and I’m a little sea-sick for the effort. BUT, it is still a good movie!

lol i remember that as i get virtigo :-S cheers not out till june for uk though :-( , hate it when they do that.

Rox: Not far away for you mate.

I WANNA SEE!!!!!!!!

It opens 2 weeks after the UK here. Typical!!!

pwb i thought u was in the UK ?

Yeah I am - sort of. Channel Islands. We tend to get things a little later than the mainland

i really wish people would stop thrwing their money to see remakes what is wrong with you people

depends if a remake is any good :P

yes vix i agree. i think when effects can be improved 10 fold why not give it a go ?

war of the worlds was actualy an improvement on the original load of shite, atleast it stuck half to the book unlike to original film which was crap

I just saw a tralier for this today at the cinema... it looks really good lots of dramatic scenes... defo one to see!

Coy: Simple. I liked the original - “The Poseidon Adventure” with Gene Hackman, Red Buttons, Shelly Winters and a slew of others.

I’d seen enough in the previews and the trailers to want to see this. Now, I was unaware that Emmy Rossum was in this as well (she was Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ’Phantom of the Opera’) until I saw her name on the screen. I liked her as Christine, and I wanted to see her in something else. I think she did a good job in this as well.

Now, for what I wish: I wish you’d realize that people have different interests and will go out and see different movies. Example: I won’t ever waste my money on “Brokeback Mountain”, I don’t give a damn how good you or anyone else on here says it is. It doesn’t appeal to me in any way shape or form, and I’ve seen trailers out the kazoo for it. I also happen to like both Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall as actors.
I walked out of Arachnophobia after 15 minutes for 2 reasons: Waste of a dollar and some guy and his wife subjected their 3 children (UNDER THE AGE OF 13) to it, and those kids were screaming their fool heads off, so I spoke to the manager. I can go on, but why bother?
