Chippy: No, the growth was successfully removed and Marie is in remission. I reserve the “cancer free” statement because usually a 5 year window is given before a doctor will declare someone “cancer free”. Even then, there’s no guarantee. I’m not saying she WILL have another growth or anything like that, but as I’ve learned in Anatomy I, cancer is a fickle thing and can pop up unexpectedly.
For the most part, on the TDR front page, most everything I’ve read is true. I haven’t heard of a case of TDR having to issue a retraction on something they’ve reported. I may have missed it... or slept through it or whatever if they have.
