And Baby makes...... 18?

Tell me this ain’t extreme:

My step-dad is one of 11, but at the time, that wasn’t too much of a surprise.
The thing that irritates me is: The tax-payer is going to be the one to put the kids through school and all that shit. It’s time to castrate that son of a bitch and tie the woman’s tubes. God may have said: “Go forth and populate the world” but that doesn’t mean YOU SPECIFICALLY.

& there’s me thinking that me & my partner were doing well with five & one on the way

To me, it sounds like they’re loaded. Correct me if I’m wrong but, I was under the impression that one had to be rolling in it to run for politics in the US.

I cant even tell you how much that annoyes me LittleSpooky. I get sooo worked up :@:@
TinyBubbles said on October 14, 2005 13:01:
lol Santi your poor grandmother!!!!!!!
I dont care if people have 112 children. As long as they can afford to have that many and not force hardworking people like me to bring them up with my hard earned money.
There is a place for welfare. It is needed. But so many misuse it and it drives me bonkers.

@ coyboyusa......if that question is pointed at me well i am in a well paid job where i work 4 nights a week & my partner is in part time work, but let me add one thing, the eldest 3 are my step kids & the soon to be 3 are my own but thats where i have to say enough is enough.
cheers

Once again, real sugar is way out of line and offensive. That is a totally offensive remark toward plectrums partner.
I have seen people kicked off here for less.
plectrum said on October 14, 2005 22:06:
yes i’ll have to agree with ragdoll on this (if the comment was aimed at me) when i met my partner she was so down in the dumps, her then boyfriend happened to kill himself (hung himself)& left her with 3 kids to bring up on her own.then we met & fell in love with each other & ended up with kids together which in my eyes isn’t a bad thing,i love them all i’m not at all sorry nor is my partner.we are not spongers who sponge off the welfare but work to support our family.(once again ragdoll many thanks for your understanding)

Kazz: Depends on the district, and not always. Some start out with a small budget. But the point is: The money doesn’t last and the cost of EVERYTHING is on the rise. There’s a lot of information missing, but I’m not going to support them by watching that horseshit on the Discovery Channel.
My step dad is #2 out of 11. 10 of them are worth something, and one is a total dill weed. He has the opinion that when the parents die, he’ll dance and take a dump on their graves. Anyway, at the time, a large family wasn’t unheard of to help do chores and what not (especially if one had a farm).

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo - not intended for plectrum! Was referring to the 18 kids! I would never intentionally insult anyone and was referring to the original reason for the message being posted. U guys should know me better than that! Would never b so mean!
And ragdoll, you said ”once again”...where else have i been out of line? I know I have a wikked sense of humour, but I have more friends than enemies on this board and I think you have made an unfair assessment of me.

Spooks that family were on a UK tv documentary recently. The family are absolutely fantastic. The kids are well spoken, well behaved, well mannered children.
The family have no debt whatsoever, they buy things only if they have the money there for it.
The dad is a hard working man, so he pays his taxes!
And as for the paying for school sh*t, they are all home schooled, so your hard earned cash isn’t going on them.
I have nothing but praise for this family, I couldn’t believe how wonderful the family were.
LittleSpooky said on October 15, 2005 15:50:
I have nothing against home schooling... but ya know... when you’ve only dealt with your brothers and sisters who “play by the rules”, what are you going to do when you get out into the real world and practically get “raped” by the way the system TRULY operates?
You’re going to have 16 very messed up adults and “good manners” aren’t going to mean anything.
kachina008 said on October 15, 2005 17:37:
spooks: possibly WHY they were home schooled in the first place? Coz the big bad world is dysfunctional as it is?
but god, women are born with 400 viable eggs, but it doesn’t mean that you try and use all of ’em :P
coyboyusa said on October 16, 2005 13:13:
real sugr has apoint tho what happened to human descencey ...i mean procreation to an excess is greedy and totally unnecessary, her legs should be sewn shut
coyboyusa said on October 16, 2005 13:15:
and den actually he’s still paying taxes for the kids to go to schoool so yes you still are paying for the kids in some way and what about if they want ot join scholastic sports, there a big uproar here in the states that home schooled kids want to join school based sports programs
LittleSpooky said on October 16, 2005 19:34:
Coy beat me to the punch on this. I was having computer troubles last night, so I couldn’t get the comment posted.
Home schooled kids are wanting to play in sports and what not because some of them want to try to “turn pro” later on (professional ball).
And most colleges won’t take you if you haven’t played in high school (they send scouts to the schools to see if they want to recrut a kid so they can better their team). And you can’t turn pro unless you’ve played some in college. You’re untested, untried as it were. As it stands, if you’re home schooled, you can’t participate.
This is one of the arguments I have against home schooling those that are high school aged.
coyboyusa said on October 17, 2005 12:58:
besdies alot fo the homeschooling here in the states is done by catholics that want their kids to get a ” traditional catholic” school experience whatever the hell that is
TinyBubbles said on October 19, 2005 12:03:
Yup i did it all on my own. And now i’m doing uni all on my own too in my non existing spare time :S
Santi said on October 13, 2005 23:55:
It’s... curious...
But well, my dad has some 12 siblings, and that was normal in post-war Spain, so maybe it’s just extreme in today’s world. :)
