Hello roxers,
i’ve heard that amazing song last weekend during the wedding from my cousin in vienna.
Well, don’t like the music from croatia so much - but THAT song is really really amazing.
I’m just crazy about this ballade..especially about the lyrics...(-:
You should hear it:

Here you go.... The Croatian lyrics... I believe this is a very very old song.... Nice one.... :)
But I can’t use Croatian symbols here... :( Never mind, you will get it...
Sve na svijetu dao bih ti ja
svog zivota deset godina
suze svijeta ukrao bih ja
da ne bi ti nikad plakala
Ja bih tebe cuvala od zla
Mjesto tebe ja bih plakala
Da mi nebo dva zivota da
za tebe bi ih cuvala
Zauvjek u dobru i zlu
bicu tu tebe da cuvam
cuvam
Ljubav vjecno veze nas
ljubav koja nema kraj
Kada dodje sjedi sjaj
otici cu s tobom znaj
Da mi nebo dva zivota da
bilo bi mi malo vremena
da ti kazem koliko volim ja
jer moja je ljubav najveca
Zauvjek u dobru i zlu
bicu tu tebe da cuvam
cuvam
Ljubav vjecno veze nas
ljubav koja nema kraj
Kada dodje sjedi sjaj
otici cu s tobom znaj
Ljubav koja nema kraj

And I have tried to translate it for you... Have fun. :)
Everything on the world I would give to you
of my life ten years
the tears of the world I would stole
so you would never cry
I would keep you from evil
Instead of you I would cry
If sky would give me two lives
I would keep them for you
Forever in good and evil
I will be here to take care of you (as in keep from anythig bad)
take care of you
Love is binding us forever
Love that has no end
When the grey shine comes (as in getting old, turning grey)
I will go (away) with you, be sure
If sky would give me two lives
it wouldn’t be enought time
to tell you how much I love you
because my love is the biggest (greatest)
Forever in good and evil
I will be here to take care of you
take care of you
Love is binding us forever
Love that has no end
When the grey shine comes (as in getting old, turning grey)
I will go (away) with you, be sure
Love that has no end

Don’t like it at all :-/ It’s boring and reminds of that kind of music “bad-quality-wedding-wanna-be-entertainers” perform at weddings and makes the wedding-guests drink as much as they can as fast as possible to stand it ;-)

It’s too slow for me. My fav Croatian song is Godinama with Dino Merlin + Ivana Banfic. I like other style of music, but thanks for sharing! :)

Wow, how come you guys know Croatian music at all? I don’t know any northern songs (except Marie and Per ofcourse)... Do you like any Serbian songs? They’re quite similar to Croatian ones. (NOT talking about folk music).
My favorite Croatian group is Haustor and recently their singer who did solo album - Darko Rundek.
If you have where to find them, try songs - Haustor-Ena, Darko Rundek-Makedo or Darko Rundek-Apocalipso

Oh, the Serbians Eva Braun are one of my favourite bands ever :D
Check out Bubble Gum, Katatonija, Labirint or Ja To Radim Samo Kad Sam Sam... they are wonderful pop tunes.
I know that music thanks to Napster. Napster was a great thing for this stuff :)
I also know a band called Van Gogh, they’re rather cool, and some other singers, of which I barely have more than one song. :)
Oh, I used to download these songs also from a web alled http://www.nostalgija.com/muzika/

Ah, yes nostalgija... nostalgic music.... :) I like that kind of music, especially music made while Yugoslavia was made of many now different countries. I could list you a tone of songs, great old Ex Yu songs.... Ah, those were the days. I like Eva Braun. I like Van Gogh too - he’s just what a Roxer would listen to if in Serbia, hehe. But my favorites here are Kerber. Try to find ANY and I mean ANY song from them. I promiss, you won’t regret it! Old rock with a little bit of pop. There is also a similar Hungarian old band called EDDA. Try them too. :) And let me know what you think.
But my other favorite Serbian musician (after Kerber) is Zdravko Colic. Don’t like his new songs, but the old ones are.... uh.... Nice pop music... But I doubt you would like him. :)
Please let me know what you think of any music from ex Yu. It’s very interesting to me. :) I love music and I have never talked about our music with foreigners.
