In how many countries and which has “The change” been released?

I have the digipack, but it says it contains Copy Control technology. It doesn’t count at all, because I was able to copy it . It doesn’t work! LOL

Yes it was released in South Africa with no promotion and in very limited numbers... i saw it once in a store & didn’t buy it & haven’t seen it since! *cries* However the album got VERY good reviews in the media! Truly strange!!

By the way it was not released here, in Argentina (as usual). Local EMI (EMI-Odeón) said it would be probably released, after all the fans requests they received. But finally nothing happened! Same happened with Agnetha Fältskog’s “My Colouring Book”: local Warner promised, but it was not released either. They are both a bunch of liars!
It’s a shame, because all Roxette albums were released here, from Look Sharp! to The Pop Hits. And I remember some Marie solo albums (Den sjunde vågen, Efter stormen) were available at the stores in the middle 90’s. I bought Per’s “På väg” set and MaMas Barn’s CD here, incredible. What a wonderful times!

@ATLTK: My “The Change” is very good, but I believe that it is not official.

It’s a shame it wasn’t released in the UK in the end. But there wouldn’t have been any promotion for it, so it wouldn’t have made any impact on the charts at all. Such a shame. I really like the album

’The change’ wasn’t released in Holland. Many cd’s state that they are made in Holland, as the cd-production plant is here in Holland. From Holland they spread it to other countries where the cd’s been released. That doesn’t mean the cd has to be releases in Holland, like it was in this case.
Anyway, bought it in Sweden though :-)

Hey! I wonder if there really is a Spanish release, or if it is an import of the Holland edition. Anybody knows?
I have bought a “cheap” copy here in Argentina (like USD10), and like RoxVan says, I’m afraid it’s an “excellent” russian bootleg.
It doesn’t have the Copy Protected sticker on the front, but I never have problems with Copy Protected discs, so I can’t tell if it is actually with it or not.
Could anybody tell me if the original copy says “1-1-2-NL Mediamotion 8631812 @ 1” on the disc center?
Thanks!

I think it was released in the EU (made in Holland, that spread all over Europe) and the digipack made in Sweden. Then, it was released in Spain, Brazil, Taiwan and Japan (both with OBI)
It was definitively NOT released in Australia (I remember that). I don’t know about South Africa. I’ve read it would be released without any promotion, but I don’t know what happened.
Any clue about this?
