What did you do before Internet?

I watched more TV. That´s it. Now I hardly know what´s going on on Television.
I don´t think I´m missing that much :)

*EDIT* I was going to ask “What did you DO before Internet”. Seems I can´t change the name of my thread anymore.

but we can ;)

I guess I watched more TV as well.

i wouldnt of known about roxette anyhow !

Had a life... :)

LOL

Didn’t know as many people as I do now.

Didn’t say they were my friends, I just know a bunch of people (as in I can carry on a conversation with them easily).

something else...

I used the computer as much because I was mostly either programming or playing videogames :D

Watched waaaaaay too much TV and had less friends.

I had more free time

I wrote and mailed more letters. I used the phone more often to reach out to friends.

I used a library more. I used the encyclopedia more. Information is more available on the net—especially the odd stuff.

I kept more of my interests to myself. Information about things I wanted to know more about came from magazines or the odd television shows.

And, as with Spooks, I now carry on more conversations with strangers, many of which live in other parts of the world.

i dint have nearly as much interest in pornography as i do now :)~
ANd well i agree with miracle man that i did write alot more often, especially to my european penpals who were my life blood for rox material i couldn’t get my hands on

Before internet I never knew a damn thing about what Roxette was doing!! (Well at the moment I still don’t...!) I remember always waiting months for my Roxette Reviews to arrive just to find out about them. I didn’t know Marie had a son till like 3 months after he was born! And I never would have been able to go to her Äntligen solo tour because I wouldn’t have heard about it until 6 months later. Actually I don’t think I would know that Marie had cancer because it never really made news in Australia...maybe that would be a good thing though.

I got out more often.. lol

I watched more TV, radio........ and I bought all magazines where there was some article, poster about Roxette. And in that time I had a lot of articles about them. I have got them up to the present day!

Actualy I don’t remember!!! perhaps TV or more reading.

Long ago people would not even imagin something like Internet when they used to send information with primary ways and wait for many days for asnwer ... the only thing that scares is me that I can not imagin how people would send data in the future and think how poor I were!!!
