How much Swedish can You?

How much Swedish can you because of Per and Marie?
Is swedish an internationall language on Roxette pages?
What do you think
(It would been much better for me
I can’t english ;-)

I don’t know how much I can Swedish because of Roxette. Here everyone have to study at primary school Swedish at least 3 years. And here streetnames, citynames etc are also Swedish.

well, I am trying a bit to learn swedish, although it doesn’t go fast.

I know quite a lot... ;)

@ per_mson .... really how did you do that? ;)

And Frida’s Djupa Andetag. . .

Not really that much—but I’m amazed at how much I can actually retain from reading the translations and how much I understand when I hear other songs for which I don’t have translations.

Although, I could be off track on some of it, it does seem I get the gist of some song. “Så Skimrande Var Aldrig Havet” is a good example: I catch snatches of lines like “Älsking, i din forsta kyss” —darling in you fist kiss, and “aldrig så vakra”—never so beautiful. . .

Other places I completely miss any full meaning. Herren Ber För Dig—something Only For You?

By the way: Is the Queen of Rain website still running? That’s where I used to get the translations for MF, but it doesn’t seem to come up when I search for it.

Herren ber för dig - The Lord prays for you

The only Swedish I can speak is the lyric to Trö and Sparvöga. ;-)

Ever since i started listening to Marie’s solo work recently, i’ve wanted to at least be able to sing along without reading the lyrics..... i’m still working on it ;-)

Some are pretty good
Ha en fin dag med kärlek från nicci

Swedish is an easy language. I just need more free time to go deeper into the language. For me, sometimes is easier to study swedish than study my own language (Portuguese)...Portuguese verbs, proverbs, adverbs, nouns, conjunctions, pronouns, prepositions, interjections are very difficult and drives me really crazy......

I know enough :D

I understand in swedish just what‘s in most of the songs I listen to (GT, Per solo, Marie a bit)

Just some words...

Jag är från Sverige så jag förstår språket ganska bra.......:)

jaha! Är det sant? ;-)

Jag är inte från Sverige men jag förstår språket ganska bra ändå ;). i’ve been studying it at uni for a year, buuut i have to admit it’s not because of Per & Marie, although it’s very nice to understand them in their native language of course.

Miracle Man‘s put it very well, it‘s the same with me. I understood from just translations into English quite a lot, and then understood some lines from other songs with even no translations. When I listened to Faller Ner Pa Kna first, I didn‘t have it‘s translation into English, but I guessed that it‘s something with falling to knees/
