Am willing to perhaps copy something for you in return, or help find something that you might need!

I had a friend from Czechoslovakia when there was such a country. . .she lived in Switzerland when I knew her though, and I think she still lives there.

And as far as I got to Czech was learning the Russian alphabet, so really not that close. Hope you find a translator. Let me know if you need something translated into English from the American. I’m fairly fluent, and what I wouldn’t know I’m sure I could stumble my way through you’d need. ;)

I have studied German here in Vienna with people from Czech Rep and Slovakia.. I know their languages are similar because they were speaking to eachother in their language and had no problems understanding... even with Polish wasn’t that big of a problem. As far as I could see, they didn’t write cirilic..

This is proving to be a nightmare.... part of me thinks I should not have bothered, but the better part of me thinks no, your doing right and they need help so help them!
All I need is someone to tell them what information we need in Czech for them to understand!

No for sure they don’t write cirilic, neither us Poles nor Czech or Slovak! :) And yes our languages are very similiar, we don’t have much problems to communicate and understand each other :)

I’m from Croatia and Czech language is similar too Croatian coz they are both slavic, but still not to similar that I can understand them. I’ve been to Pargue few years ago, and even I recognized some words here and there, I had troubles to understand. No they don’t write a cirilic neither we do.

I’m pretty sure the official language is “Czech”: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_language
