I am a big Rox fan. They have given me a lot actually. The sense of music that I have now, melody and a lot of other things. Per has been a great inspiration over the last decade and I can’t thank them enough for the kind of work they have done over all these years cuz the way I see it, Roxette and Per’s solo stuff is like an academy to me which teaches me more everyday.
By the stroke of luck, I ended up having a band. I am sure I am not the only guy around here to have a band going and who plays guitar, write songs and everything but recently I had a big big honor. It came out to be like this...
I started playing guitar a year ago? and then I started to write my own songs the very next month I started to play guitar. I wrote a song called “Kesi Yeh Duniya” trans: What kinda world? or What sorda world? I had an excellent feedback about that song and then I wrote a couple of more songs and then received even more amazing feedback from the friends and other people that were in the circle. Somehow I ended up forming a band. We recorded the thing and well, we are having a very good response from the public here. The song is hitting airwaves here in Karachi and soon it will emerge on different local radio stations. Oh oh and the song is also being aired in UK (on the radio of course)
So what was the honor? well recenrly I had the radio on when I heard THE LOOK being played on it. I was like OMG! wow! THE LOOK wow wow and then another song by some other artist was played. What had me having my goosebumps going crazy was when I heard my song being played on the SAME SHOW!
The feeling, ohmygod! I can’t explain the feeling. “Roxette” and “AUR” being played on the same show. Maybe it wouldn’t sound exciting to you but for me, it was extra ordinary! Something very emotional and over whelming! It was like an honor!
Finally, I’d like you guys to check our little attempt. It is a long way to go and I think there is no end learning the thing called music and even though, the song is not in English, I believe the the melody speaks for itself. This song is about living your life and letting yourself go free from all those tensions and problems which surround us in our daily lives. It tells you LIVE and “live” it to the max!

I’d loveeeeee to have your comments/feedback and suggestions about the song. Just so to let you know, I am playing the rythems and I am on the vocals as well. I wanted to give it a bit of that 80’s touch...
Thanks!
