OLD QUESTION... POP Vs. POP

The next question might had been asked before, but here it goes again as i don’t remember...
Why wasn’t Pearls Of Passion released on the original Pearls Of Passion back in 1986?
And what is the song about?
Something going ’round in my head for a couple of days and wanted to put and end for good.
Thanx in advance
R.

For my taste it’s Roxette’s best song of 1986. I first discovered it on the QOR maxi in 1992 and instantly loved it.

Yeah, surely someone must know for sure why it didn’t make the album or if it was written after the album was released??
I remember also Del Amitri released “Hatful Of Rain - Best Of Del Amitri” and left off the wonderful Hatful Of Rain - very strange... Rich

I’m not sure, but maybe it was because it wasn’t finished in time for the album or something?

i rember per saying that it was left off because of the album budget and emi wanted b-sides for the singles

I like the song. Not a favorite but it has gotten stuck in my head before. . . I didn’t know it was left off the original.
Concrete Blonde’s album Free was free of it’s title track as well. It ended up on a rarities, remixes, live CD called Still In Hollywood.

maybe because it wasn’t good enough for the album? it was a bside, it’s simple.
