Print error in Bad Moon

Does anyone else feel that instead of “I will know you always” Marie sings “I will know you the whole way” in “Bad Moon”?

And also “the time is cruel” sounds more like “the time is rude”.

What I thought is that - since the song is so old - they lost the original lyrics and figured out what might have been sung and then put those words in the booklet...

I’ve never read the lyrics to Bad Moon, but to me it does sound like “i will know you the whole way” and “the time is so rude”.

You could be right about what happend!

Funny things happen - once again ;)

I agree with animalkingdom, it sounds like rude and whole way.

It is “is just rude” and “i will love you the whole way” in the demo ...

Lyrix errors happen now and then on ROXETTE’s booklets as well...

You’re totally right Animal, the words we hear are not the words in the book. Also in All You Gotta Do Is Feel she says “you can be so much real” but the book says “more real”.

In Mother is in a booklet writted That were never told but Marie sings Thas was never told.

I think it’s a common practice Bryan Adams does that too, it’s like using mental shortcuts I guess. :)

@gyllene_tjej, that’s nothing! A friend of mine once bought a Bryan Adams CD Single called ’The only thing that looks good on me is you’ only to find out that the music on the disc wasn’t BA but another artist and another song!!!! On the cd you could actually read ’Bryan Adams - The only thing.... etc.”. :-)

did anyone check the lyrics of the demo? i havent got it at hand, but maybe they accidentalyl printed the lyrics to the demo or something like that?

it happens sometimes the same happend with nirvana’s nevermind album.

In the Demo you hear the same: “Whole way” and “Rude”. And it sounds like the albumversion got the Vocal-records from the Demo. Only the Refrain is a newer Record.
