Second Annual CD of Never-Before-Released Songs to Be Given to Reward Zone ® Members on November 27
MINNEAPOLIS (November 17, 2004) – Best Buy is giving some of its most loyal customers an early holiday gift. Sweet Tracks , an exclusive CD featuring never-before-released songs from Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Chris Isaak, Train, Dave Koz, Phantom Planet, Pete Yorn, Maroon 5 and Kenny Loggins , will be available free to Best Buy Reward Zone members on Saturday, November 27.
Sweet Tracks is Best Buy’s second annual holiday CD. There is no purchase necessary to obtain Sweet Tracks, but supplies are limited and rain checks will not be issued.
Rewards Zone members can pick up the CD at any Best Buy store while supplies last. Customers also can get the CD by becoming Reward Zone members on the day of the promotion ($9.99 for a one-year membership). Best Buy’s Reward Zone program is a customer loyalty program that offers exclusive benefits to people who make purchases at Best Buy stores nationwide.
“We’re proud to be able to team with a group of extremely talented artists to provide this gift to our most loyal customers,” said Gary Arnold, senior vice president of entertainment for Best Buy. “Many of the songs on Sweet Tracks were recorded specifically for the CD. The artists were asked to record songs that capture their holiday spirit, and we think fans will enjoy seeing this very personal side of some of their favorite artists.”
The exclusive collection of original recorded songs was manufactured by Redline Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of Best Buy, Co., Inc.
