I could believe that Per has a look now and then, but I doubt that Marie would bother. Especially since she can’t read....and I don’t think she’d be interested enough to have Micke sit there reading to her about what songs should be cut from Tourism and that she’s a cow for not inviting Per to her wedding!! o_O

@Lucre: Marie has said in the documentary that she had to relearn to read and count. As shocking as it sounds, it is something releated to the surgery/treatment/illness. So yes... *now* she can’t read, at least not in the same way she used to.
Anyway, everytime I read/think about this topic, I wonder how much she ’forgot’ and how easy/hard was to re-learn it.

oof, just the thought of not being able to read or write makes me sort of depressed, just to think what it meant for an intelligent woman like Marie... but by now she has to have re-learned it surely? Well at least she hasn’t forgotten her English, no way in hell she had to learn that again too!
And as for Per reading here, he doesn’t a nickname for that, does he? Unless he wants to post something =). Well if I was him i’d come here whenever I need an ego-boost :).

Er, yeah I know he’s married. But what’s that about Anders?! Am I missing something?? I mean, their guitar stunt really does it for me, (reminds me of Bowie and Mick Ronson for some reason; pity they don’t do the oral thing=), but else... (?)

Um..are you guys serious? I mean, I would see the point, Per is gorgeous, Anders is and together they’d be twice as gorgeous. But I’m no basis for comparison, I’m always for some boy-on-boy action!

Nancy: Yeah it is a little depressing to think of such a smart woman having problems with reading. She didn’t explain how bad it is...so I don’t know if she can’t read at all, or if she’s at a 7 year old level or just having problems with understanding. Who knows. At the very least, I doubt that she practises her reading here at Small Talk.

I think it’s a bit mean and yellowish to say “she can’t read” because she can, she herself said she _has had_ to learnt it again and is practising every day, which means she can read _now_, maybe she’s slow, like when one learns to read when one’s young, but she can...

Mean? God, nobody loves Marie more than I do so I’m not going to come here and say something mean about her. The impression that I got from the documentary is that she is still struggling to read and that she has not recovered her reading skills yet...she said “it’s something that will come back with time, I believe that but I must practice.” To me that means she can’t read but she’s working on it. But mean....jeez, I would never want to insult Marie.

It’s an expression...doesn’t really mean I love her the most in the world, Micke could probably argue with me about that. I was simply saying in my post that if Marie can’t read (and it’s useless debating how much she can read or not, since we don’t know) then TDR is not the place for her to practise her reading, and besides I don’t think Small Talk interested her before she got sick. As if I’d even think about insulting her, all I’ve done since I joined TDR is defend Marie against morons who attack her.

Back to the original topic: I could believe that Per snoops around here now and then maybe to find out what fans are interested in (new DVD, favourite songs from new album etc) but I don’t think he has a secret nick that he posts under! But you never know......

Does anyone remember that interview they gave at P3 a couple of years ago (Ketchup Fanclub or something like that?)? They were talking about “a big Roxette chat page” Per’s reading regularly and he said “Vi ser allt, vi hör allt” (We see everything, we hear everything)... *g*

Per himself commented about the “weird ideas” sometimes going on in TDR .. also said somewhere he has TDR as his startpage .. and somewhen he also said he checks TDR to see what’s going on with Rox&co.

No comments about Marie.. she must surely know about the website but no info about how often she’s visited it ;)
