Surfing the internet, I found a couple of Roxette-Albums that seem not to be selled in usual shops such as amaon.de / amazon.com. Can you tell me where I can gat „Myths“, „Unplugged“ and „Rarities“ from?
Thanks!

I thought Myths and Unplugged were bootlegs?
You’d be hard pushed to get Rarities in the shops, best bet is try ebay.

Roxservice have them all for download, and according to the site, Myths and Unplugged are indeed bootlegs, as I thought.

I saw the unplugged one in a local music shop once in 1994, but i didn’t had any money with me. When I returned to buy it, it was already gone, and appearantly, that shop only had one copy :(
But “unplugged” and “myths” are bootlegs indead. Rarities isn’t I think.

Myths is a compilations of demos made by Roxservice, if you buy it, for sure it will be a CDR becouse it doesn’t exist as a “real” bootleg.
From the unplugged there are three bootlegs, they’re called “Acoustic 93”, “unsensored and uncut” and “North stars” (this one also have some songs live from the joyride tour)

Don’t forget the Unplugged Bootleg Picture LP....

The one thing i could never understand: why “uncensored”(?) and “uncut”(?) boot eliminated all the inbetween words Marie and Per say in Swedish??? And whatta heck happened to the speed? Specially tined to be faster or? Duh
colinvdbel (moderator) said on July 9, 2004 21:07:
didnt it have something to do with this CD having an extra song which wasn’t on the other Cd’s? I’m not sure...

So, if I understand this correctly, bottlegs are not selled regularily? Neither in Rox-online-shops nore by any kind of label (eg. EMI) directly?
:-(
I’ve already downloaded the CDs from the internet, but I want to hold an official release in my hands! :-(
OK, Thanks to all of you!

There are no official releases of Myths and unplugged.
And if anyone sells them in normal shops, they’re breaking the law I would think.
Strest said on July 10, 2004 12:34:
Well, it’s a hard question to answer...
The answer is usually no, EMI hasn’t released any of them bootlegs, but the bootleggers sometimes take tracks from legit releases (like the Dance Passion-vinyl and remixes, livesongs and demos from singles & maxis).
Also a piratecopy of an album (Pearls of Passion, Look sharp, Joyride etc) is also a bootleg.

There are many ’bootlegs’ on ebay, claimed by the seller to be official ’rare’ releases. Do not fall for it. The covers are POOR. (I mean, what possible reason could there be having pictures from Per and Maries weddings etc?!?) And the songs are just plain old album releases put on a couple CDs. One has a song on it that isn’t even roxette!

MYTHS is a BOOTLEG...u will nto find it in normal record stores and selling it is illegal, the demos were stolen from marie like the joyride demos were from per. Rarities was an offfical release during the cbb tour in mostly asian countries. Rarities has 3 mastered UNplugged songs that are very worth having as well as some cool b-sides. Unplugged is all bootlegs, unfortunately thanks to mtv there may never be an official release of the show. Acoustic 93 is my fave and if u hunt arounf u can find cry and watercolours in the rain which were also televised

I was looking through my old records and found the “Dance Passion” vinyl, think I listened to it once, so it’s in really good shape. Is it worth selling? Does anyone know if it’s that rare? I can’t remember seeing it anywhere else...

Pops up on eBay now and again... I sold a copy on there recently for around £24 not bad as I only paid £6 for it! ;) but it ain’t that rare...
